Training Objectives The general objective is to achieve communicative and socio-cultural competence. The course aims to deepen the study of the Spanish language and Hispanic culture. To this end, we will proceed on three main routes: first, the study of the rules of operation of Spanish (level B1); second, we will address the formal and semantic characteristics of phraseological units at multiple levels (morphological, syntactic, semantic and contrastive and cultural); and third, we will address aspects related to political language.
Prerequisites The course is held by the teacher in Spanish, therefore to follow the lessons requires a level of knowledge of language A2 in order to facilitate the acquisition of the necessary linguistic and cultural skills. To take the oral exam, the student must have reached the B1 language level (intermediate), which can be certified by a certificate (B1) issued by the CLA (Centro Linguistico d'Ateneo), or by presenting the DELE certificate (Diploma de Español Lengua Extranjera, B1), or must have passed a written test of the same level (intermediate), which is held regularly in the faculty at the beginning of each exam session (June, September, February). Note: Beginners must register for the CLA courses from September so that there is no overlap with the completion of the course of ownership to be held in the second semester.
