The course is about the fourth industrial revolution. It focuses on the characteristics of business digitalization processes and their impact on organization and performance. In each topic, the analysis of empirical evidence will be central and supported by the presentation of the underlying theory related to the subjects under study. Particular attention will be dedicated to the Italian production system to understand the critical issues and opportunities for Italian companies in facing the digital transition.
