Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione
I curricula offerti dal CdS conferiscono una solida formazione nelle lingue, letterature e culture straniere.
Una adeguata differenziazione orienta al raggiungimento di un'avanzata competenza nello studio critico delle civiltà moderne nelle loro diverse espressioni in area europea e americana, ovvero al raggiungimento di un'avanzata competenza nelle lingue dell'area europea e americana e nella valutazione dei fenomeni transculturali.
Detti obiettivi saranno raggiunti con gli strumenti e le metodologie dell'analisi letteraria e storico-culturale, ovvero dell'analisi linguistica e filologica e della traduzione culturale.
Il raggiungimento dei risultati previsti è reso possibile grazie al numero elevato di crediti da conserguire prevalentemente nei settori letterario, filologico, culturale e linguistico, ovvero delle lingue e traduzioni, delle linguistiche e filologie, delle letterature.Capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione
I curricula, grazie ad una adeguata differenziazione, permettono di acquisire capacità di applicazione delle competenze in ambiti professionali specifici, in particolare: servizi culturali di varia natura; consulenze e collaborazioni editoriali; collaborazioni di carattere culturale e divulgativo; relazioni estere; intermediazione e turismo culturale; attività di traduzione in ambito letterario o dei linguaggi specifici.
Autonomia di giudizio
1) I curricula offerti dal CdS permettono di acquisire capacità autonome di valutazione e giudizio attraverso il conseguimento di una buona competenza
nell'ambito storico-culturale e letterario delle due lingue straniere prescelte, con particolare attenzione alle dinamiche transculturali e agli aspetti linguistico-traduttivi.
Abilità comunicative
I percorsi formativi permettono di acquisire abilità comunicative di buon livello, che consentano di relazionarsi con interlocutori specialisti e non specialisti, al fine di trasmettere informazioni, esprimere idee, porre o risolvere problemi e offrire soluzioni.
Capacità di apprendimento
Entrambi i percorsi formativi permettono di acquisire capacità di apprendimento autonome, che consentano di intraprendere eventuali studi successivi (master di primo livello e Laurea magistrale).Requisiti di ammissione
Per l'ammissione al CdS in Lingue e Culture Straniere si richiedono le conoscenze previste dal Regolamento didattico del CdS, al quale si rimanda anche per quanto riguarda la loro verifica e gli eventuali obblighi formativi.
Prova finale
La Laurea triennale in Lingue e Culture Straniere si consegue previo superamento di una prova finale, che consiste nella presentazione e discussione di un elaborato scritto.
L'argomento dell'elaborato sarà scelto nell'ambito di un settore scientifico-disciplinare per il quale siano previsti insegnamenti nel Regolamento didattico del CdS.
Nel settore prescelto lo studente deve aver conseguito almeno 12 CFU.
Qualora lo studente progetti di svolgere la sua prova finale in una materia alla quale è attribuito un numero di CFU inferiore a 12, potrà utilizzare i crediti a scelta libera per ottenere, o eventualmente superare, il numero minimo di crediti previsto.
Per la determinazione dell'argomento dell'elaborato per la prova finale, lo studente deve aver conseguito almeno 120 CFU.
Le modalità per la determinazione dell'argomento dell'elaborato e per la sua preparazione sono fissate nel Regolamento del CdS secondo le linee stabilite dal Consiglio di Facoltà.
Per essere ammesso alla discussione dell'elaborato per la prova finale, che porta all'acquisizione di 6 crediti, lo studente deve aver conseguito 174 crediti.
Le modalità dello svolgimento della prova finale sono fissate secondo le linee stabilite dal Consiglio di Facoltà.
Sbocchi occupazionali e professionali previsti per i laureati
Gli sbocchi occupazionali e/ o professionali previsti direttamente per i laureati nel Corso di Laurea in Lingue e Culture Straniere sono:
- servizi culturali presso istituti di cultura, istituti di ricerca, organismi locali, nazionali e internazionali quali rappresentanze consolari e diplomatiche;
- collaborazioni di carattere culturale e attività nel settore della divulgazione;
- editoria;
- imprese e attività commerciali nel settore delle relazioni con l'estero;
- turismo culturale;
- intermediazione culturale in ambito europeo ed extra-europeo;
- attività di traduzione in settori pubblici e privati o free-lance (in particolare per i laureati del curriculum Lingue e Traduzione Interculturale);
- insegnamento in strutture private.
I laureati del corso di Laurea in Lingue e Culture Straniere avranno la possibilità di accedere ad una Laurea Magistrale, secondo le disposizioni dei regolamenti ministeriali e delle singole facoltà, o ad un Master di primo livello secondo le normative dell'Ateneo che lo organizza.
Le attività obbligatorie del corso di Laurea sono finalizzate alla preparazione per l'accesso a Lauree Magistrali nella classe LM-37 (Lingue e letterature moderne europee e americane).
Le attività a libera scelta possono permettere allo studente di migliorare la sua preparazione per l'accesso a questa Laurea, o di prepararsi per l'accesso a Lauree Magistrali di altre classi.
Orientamento in ingresso
Le attività di orientamento, tirocinio, stage e placement, a livello di Ateneo, sono promosse e coordinate dal Gruppo di Lavoro per l'Orientamento di Ateneo (GLOA) costituito, sino ad ora, da due delegati dei Presidenti per ciascuna Scuola, dalla Responsabile della Divisione Politiche per gli Studenti e coordinato dal delegato del Rettore per le politiche di orientamento.
Il GLOA promuove azioni relative all'orientamento in ingresso, all'orientamento in itinere (tutorato, tirocini e stage) e all'orientamento in uscita (politiche attive per il lavoro e placement).
Orientamento in ingresso
Le azioni di orientamento in ingresso sono improntate alla realizzazione di processi di raccordo con la scuola secondaria di secondo grado.
Si concretizzano in attività di carattere informativo sui Corsi di Studio (CdS) dell'Ateneo ma anche come impegno condiviso da Scuola e Università per favorire lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza da parte degli studenti nel compiere scelte coerenti con le proprie conoscenze, competenze, attitudini e interessi.
Le attività promosse si articolano in:
a) seminari e attività formative realizzate in collaborazione con i docenti della scuola;
b) incontri e manifestazioni informative rivolte alle future matricole;
c) sviluppo di servizi on line per l'orientamento e l'auto-orientamento.
Tra le attività svolte in collaborazione con le scuole, il “progetto di auto-orientamento” costituisce un notevole impegno finalizzato a promuovere un raccordo particolarmente qualificato con alcune scuole superiori che costituiscono il principale “bacino di utenza” di Roma Tre.
Il progetto è articolato in incontri svolti presso le scuole dagli esperti dell'Ufficio Orientamento con la collaborazione di studenti seniores ed è finalizzato a sollecitare nelle future matricole una riflessione sui propri punti di forza e sui criteri di scelta (gli incontri si svolgono nel periodo ottobre-febbraio).
La presentazione dell'offerta formativa agli studenti delle scuole superiori prevede tre eventi principali, ai quali partecipano tutti i CdS, distribuiti nel corso dell'anno accademico.
• Salone dello studente “Campus orienta”, si svolge presso la fiera di Roma nel periodo ottobre/novembre, coinvolge tradizionalmente tutti gli Atenei del Lazio e molti Atenei fuori Regione, Enti pubblici e privati che si occupano di Formazione e Lavoro.
Roma Tre partecipa a questo evento con un proprio spazio espositivo e con conferenze di presentazione dell'offerta formativa dell'Ateneo.
• Le Giornate di Vita Universitaria (GVU) si svolgono nel periodo gennaio/febbraio e sono rivolte agli studenti degli ultimi due anni della scuola secondaria superiore.
Partecipano annualmente oltre 6.000 studenti delle secondarie.
Si svolgono in tutte le Facoltà dell'Ateneo e costituiscono una importante occasione delle future matricole per vivere la realtà universitaria.
Durante gli incontri, oltre alla presentazione dei CdS, si sollecita l'esperienza diretta degli studenti alla vita universitaria con la partecipazione ad attività didattiche, laboratori, lezioni o seminari, alle quali partecipano anche studenti seniores che svolgono una mediazione di tipo tutoriale.
• Orientarsi a Roma Tre rappresenta la manifestazione che chiude le annuali attività di orientamento in ingresso e si svolge in Ateneo a luglio di ogni anno.
L'evento accoglie mediamente circa 3.000 studenti romani e non, che partecipano per mettere definitivamente a fuoco la loro scelta universitaria.
Oltre all'offerta formativa sono presentati tutti i principali servizi di Roma Tre rivolti agli studenti e le segreterie didattiche sono a disposizione per tutte le informazioni relative alle pratiche di immatricolazione.
In tutte le manifestazioni di presentazione dell'offerta formativa, sono illustrati anche i vari servizi on line che possono aiutare gli studenti nella scelta: dai siti web delle Facoltà al sito del POS (Prove di Orientamento Simulate) che consente alle future matricole di autovalutarsi rispetto ai requisiti di accesso per tutti i CdS di Roma Tre.
In tutte le manifestazioni che si svolgono in Ateneo sono somministrati ai partecipanti questionari di soddisfazione che vengono elaborati ed utilizzati per proporre miglioramenti all'organizzazione degli eventi.
Il Corso di Studio in breve
Il Corso di studio in Lingue e culture straniere si articola in due curricula:
1) Il curriculum in Lingue e culture moderne e contemporanee (LCMC) conferisce una solida formazione nelle lingue, letterature e culture straniere, orientata in particolare al raggiungimento di un’avanzata competenza nello studio critico delle civiltà moderne nelle loro diverse espressioni in area europea e americana, con gli strumenti e le metodologie dell’analisi letteraria e storica.
Il curriculum consente di raggiungere i risultati previsti grazie al numero elevato di crediti da conseguire nei settori letterario, filologico, culturale e linguistico.
2)Il curriculum in Lingue e traduzione interculturale (LTI) conferisce una solida formazione nelle lingue, letterature e culture straniere, orientata in particolare al raggiungimento di un’avanzata competenza nelle lingue dell’area europea e americana e nello studio dei fenomeni transculturali con gli strumenti e le metodologie dell’analisi linguistica e filologica e della traduzione.
Il curriculum consente di raggiungere i risultati previsti grazie al numero elevato di crediti da conseguire nei settori delle lingue e traduzioni, delle linguistiche e filologie, delle letterature.
Il CdS non prevede propedeuticità tra i vari insegnamenti all’interno dello stesso anno di corso.
Le propedeuticità si hanno, però, per la successione delle annualità nel medesimo insegnamento, sia per quanto riguarda le lingue sia per quanto riguarda le letterature (una seconda o una terza annualità non può essere sostenuta prima della precedente).
Per quanto riguarda gli insegnamenti linguistici, l’esame di lingua del settore scientifico-disciplinare Lingua e traduzione, relativamente ad ogni annualità, è costituito da una parte teorica (lezioni frontali svolte dai docenti titolari dell’insegnamento) e da una parte pratica (svolta con gli esperti linguistici e comprendente attività che mirano a sviluppare le quattro abilità di comprensione e produzione, scritta e orale, ai vari livelli) che si integrano vicendevolmente.
L’attività svolta con gli esperti madrelingua ha, per entrambi i curricula, durata annuale, e si conclude con una prova di verifica delle competenze e l’acquisizione, previo superamento della prova stessa, del livello previsto per le varie annualità (B1, B2, C1).
Il superamento di detta prova è propedeutico alla definizione finale dell’esame e non dà diritto all’acquisizione di CFU autonomi.
Insegnamenti obbligatori
Lo studente dovrà scegliere la Filologia attinente a una delle due lingue triennali scelte.
La scelta delle due letterature è legata alla scelta delle due lingue triennali.
Gli studenti che hanno indicato come lingua lo spagnolo possono scegliere l’insegnamento di Lingua e letterature ispanoamericane in alternativa all’insegnamento di Letteratura spagnola.
Gli studenti che hanno indicato come lingua l’inglese possono scegliere l’insegnamento di Lingue e letterature angloamericane in alternativa all’insegnamento di Letteratura inglese.
Una volta effettuata la scelta, gli studenti dovranno portarla avanti negli anni successivi al primo (e nell’eventuale percorso di laurea magistrale), salvo accordi presi tra i settori scientifico disciplinari coinvolti e indicati nei programmi di corso.
CFU e ore di didattica frontale
Come previsto all’articolo 15 del Regolamento di Facoltà, ad ogni CFU corrispondono 6 ore di didattica frontale (lezione docente), eventualmente integrate da esercitazioni o ulteriori attività didattiche.
Lo studente espliciterà le proprie scelte al momento della presentazione,
tramite il sistema informativo di ateneo, del piano di completamento o del piano di studio individuale,
secondo quanto stabilito dal regolamento didattico del corso di studio.
