Autonomia di giudizio
L'autonomia di giudizio , ovvero l'acquisizione della capacita di integrare le conoscenze e gestirne la complessita, anche in modo autonomo, nonche di elaborare osservazioni e formulare valutazioni, sara acquisita per mezzo di lezioni tenute in forma seminariale negli ambiti delle attivita formative attivate nei SSD relativi alle lingue e letterature latine e greche (L-FIL-LET/02, L-FIL-LET-04, L-FIL-LET/06, L-FIL-LET/08), alle scienze filologiche (L-FIL-LET/05), storiche (L-ANT/02, L-ANT/03, L-ANT/05, M-STO/07, M-STO/09).
Le attivita suddette consentiranno lo sviluppo di una corretta ermeneutica dei testi e delle fonti documentarie, sviluppando le capacita di valutare autonomamente i documenti oggetto degli studi e di collegare i vari ambiti dei saperi letterari, linguistici, storici e filologici.
Il raggiungimento dell' autonomia di giudizio sara verificata sui risultati delle analisi dei testi e delle fonti documentarie, dalla capacita di creare bibliografie di riferimento primarie e secondarie esaustive, nonche dalla valutazione dei criteri applicati nella preparazione e redazione della tesi di laurea.
Abilità comunicative
Le abilita comunicative necessarie a trasmettere in modo chiaro e privo di ambiguita, sia ad interlocutori specialisti, sia a non specialisti, il metodo ed i risultati della ricerca scientifica saranno conseguite nell'ambito di tutte le attivita formative previste dal corso di laurea.
Tale acquisizione sara sottoposta a verifica periodica nel corso di appositi incontri seminariali, prove in itinere sia orali sia scritte, nonche attraverso la valutazione della capacita di elaborazione formale della tesi di laurea.Capacità di apprendimento
L'acquisizione della capacita di apprendimento sara ottenuta attraverso il complessivo iter di studio, con particolare riguardo all'organizzazione del tempo di studio, alla ricerca bibliografica, allo studio dei testi e all'analisi delle fonti, alla partecipazione alle attivita seminariali, all'attivita di ricerca finalizzata all'elaborazione della tesi finale.
La verifica della capacita di apprendimento avverra tramite l'analisi della carriera del singolo studente in relazione ai risultati nelle prove di esame in itinere e la valutazione della capacita di apprendimento autonomo dimostrata nel corso dell'elaborazione della tesi di laurea.Requisiti di ammissione
Per l'ammissione al corso di Laurea Magistrale in Filologia, letterature e storia dell'antichita sono richieste le conoscenze generali corrispondenti al possesso di una Laurea di ambito umanistico (Classe delle Lauree in Beni Culturali L-1; Classe delle Lauree in Lettere L-10; Classe delle Lauree in Storia L-42), comprensive di quelle conoscenze preliminari nel campo delle discipline relative alla letteratura e storia dell'antichita greca e romana che permettono di intraprendere con successo un percorso formativo secondo il presente Ordinamento.
Inoltre e
richiesto il grado B2 di conoscenza in una lingua straniera parlata nell'Unione Europea, nonche conoscenze avanzate dei procedimenti informatici sia ai fini della scrittura che ai fini della ricerca di base.
Le conoscenze richieste per l'ammissione sono accertate secondo modalita definite dal Regolamento del corso di Laurea Magistrale.
Ai fini dell'ammissione, oltre alle norme esplicitate nel Regolamento del corso di Laurea Magistrale, si deve dimostrare il possesso o l'acquisizione di una preparazione generale di base nei settori scientifico disciplinari riferibili alle discipline letterarie (L-FIL-LET/02; L-FIL-LET-04, L-FIL-LET/06, L-FIL-LET/08), filologiche (L-FIL-LET/05), storiche (L-ANT/02, L-ANT/03, L-ANT/05, L-ANT/08, M-STO/07, M-STO/09).
Il possesso di questi requisiti verra accertato anche con colloqui e secondo modalita stabilite dal Regolamento del Corso di Laurea Magistrale.
Prova finale
1.
La Laurea Magistrale in Filologia, letterature e storia dell'antichita si consegue previo superamento di una prova finale, che consiste nella presentazione e discussione di una tesi scritta elaborata in forma originale dal candidato sotto la guida di un relatore, nell'ambito di uno dei SSD presenti nell'Ordinamento del Corso di Laurea Magistrale, per il quale siano previsti insegnamenti nel Regolamento del Corso di Laurea Magistrale e nel quale lo studente abbia conseguito CFU.

Preliminarmente alla determinazione dell'argomento della tesi, lo studente del Corso di Laurea Magistrale deve aver conseguito almeno 30 CFU.
Le modalita per la determinazione dell'argomento della tesi e per la sua preparazione, nonche per la scelta del relatore, sono fissate nel Regolamento del Corso di Laurea Magistrale secondo le linee stabilite a suo tempo dal Consiglio della Facolta di Lettere e Filosofia.

Per essere ammesso alla discussione della tesi elaborata per la prova finale, che porta all'acquisizione di 30 CFU, lo studente deve aver conseguito 90 CFU.
Le modalita dello svolgimento della prova finale sono fissate nel Regolamento del Corso di Laurea Magistrale secondo le linee stabilite a suo tempo dal Consiglio della Facolta di Lettere e Filosofia.
Orientamento in ingresso
Le azioni di orientamento in ingresso messe in atto dall'Universita Roma Tre sono improntate alla realizzazione di processi di raccordo con la scuola media secondaria.
Si concretizzano in attivita di carattere informativo sui Corsi di Studio (C.d.S.) dell'Ateneo ma anche come impegno condiviso da scuola e universita per favorire lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza da parte degli studenti nel compiere scelte coerenti con le proprie conoscenze, competenze, attitudini e interessi.
Le attivita promosse si articolano in:
a) autorientamento;
b) incontri e manifestazioni informative rivolte alle future matricole;
c) sviluppo di servizi online e pubblicazione di guide sull'offerta formativa dei CdS
Tra le attivita svolte in collaborazione con le scuole per lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza nella scelta, il progetto di autorientamento e un intervento che consente di promuovere un raccordo particolarmente qualificato con alcune scuole medie superiori.
Il progetto, infatti, e articolato in incontri svolti presso le scuole ed e finalizzato a sollecitare nelle future matricole una riflessione sui propri punti di forza e sui criteri di scelta.
La presentazione dell'offerta formativa agli studenti delle scuole superiori prevede tre eventi principali distribuiti nel corso dell'anno accademico ai quali partecipano tutti i C.d.S.
? Salone dello studente, si svolge presso la Fiera di Roma fra ottobre e novembre e coinvolge tradizionalmente tutti gli Atenei del Lazio e molti Atenei fuori Regione, nonche Enti pubblici e privati che si occupano di Formazione e Lavoro.
Roma Tre partecipa a questo evento con un proprio spazio espositivo, con conferenze di presentazione dell'offerta formativa dell'Ateneo e promuove i propri Dipartimenti scientifici grazie all'iniziativa Roma 1,2,3 ? Scienze;
? Giornate di Vita Universitaria (GVU), si svolgono ogni anno da dicembre a marzo e sono rivolte agli studenti degli ultimi due anni della scuola secondaria superiore.
Si svolgono in tutti i Dipartimenti dell'Ateneo e costituiscono un'importante occasione per le future matricole per vivere la realta universitaria.
Gli incontri sono strutturati in modo tale che accanto alla presentazione dei Corsi di Laurea, gli studenti possano anche fare un'esperienza diretta di vita universitaria con la partecipazione ad attivita didattiche, laboratori, lezioni o seminari, alle quali partecipano anche studenti seniores che svolgono una significativa mediazione di tipo tutoriale.
Partecipano annualmente circa 5.000 studenti;
? Orientarsi a Roma Tre, rappresenta la manifestazione che chiude le annuali attivita di orientamento in ingresso e si svolge in Ateneo a luglio di ogni anno.
L'evento accoglie, perlopiu, studenti romani che partecipano per mettere definitivamente a fuoco la loro scelta universitaria.
Durante la manifestazione viene presentata l'offerta formativa e sono presenti, con un proprio spazio, anche tutti i principali servizi di Roma Tre, tra cui le segreterie didattiche e la segreteria studenti.
I servizi online messi a disposizione dei futuri studenti universitari nel tempo sono aumentati tenendo conto dello sviluppo delle nuove opportunita di comunicazione tramite web.
Inoltre, durante tutte le manifestazioni di presentazione dell'offerta formativa, sono illustrati quei servizi online (siti web di Dipartimento, di Ateneo, Portale dello studente etc.) che possono aiutare gli studenti nella loro scelta.
Il Corso di Studio in breve
Il corso di Laurea Magistrale in Filologia, Letterature e Storia dell'antichita si prefigge i seguenti obiettivi formativi, espressi in termini di risultati attesi:
a) l'acquisizione di approfondite conoscenze e di elevata capacita di comprensione critica nel campo della filologia e delle letterature dell'antichita greca e latina e in quello della storia antica e tardoantica, tali da consentire, in un contesto anche di ricerca, l'elaborazione e/o lo sviluppo di idee originali e innovative;
b) l'acquisizione di avanzate competenze nel campo delle metodologie proprie delle scienze storiche e filologiche, nonche delle specifiche tecniche di ricerca richieste per il reperimento e l'uso critico delle fonti letterarie e documentarie giunteci dall'antichita, alla luce dei risultati della ricerca internazionale in tale campo;
c) l'acquisizione di un'approfondita conoscenza teorica e applicata ? fondata sulla lettura e l'analisi di testi arcaici, classici, postclassici e tardoantichi ? nel campo delle lingue e letterature dell'antichita greca e latina, del loro contesto storico e culturale, della loro fortuna in eta medievale, moderna e contemporanea, con possibilita di allargamento alla storia antica dell'Europa e del bacino del Mediterraneo, con riguardo anche ai rapporti con il vicino Oriente;
d) l'acquisizione, in riferimento ai precedenti punti, di abilita nell'affrontare tematiche nuove e risolvere problemi ad esse correlati, inseriti in contesti piu ampi o interdisciplinari, connessi al settore dello studio dell'antichita;
e) l'acquisizione, in riferimento ai precedenti punti, della capacita di integrare le conoscenze e gestirne la complessita, nonche di elaborare osservazioni e formulare valutazioni e giudizi sulla base di informazioni anche parziali e frammentate, nel contesto di una matura consapevolezza delle responsabilita sociali ed etiche, oltre che scientifiche, collegate all'applicazione di tali conoscenze e giudizi;
f) il consolidamento della capacita di utilizzare criticamente i principali strumenti informatici e telematici disponibili nel campo dello studio dell'antichita e fruibili in un contesto di digital humanities;
g) il consolidamento della capacita di utilizzare fluentemente, in forma scritta e orale, almeno una lingua dell'Unione europea oltre l'italiano, con riferimento anche al lessico disciplinare della scienza dell'antichita;
h) l'acquisizione, con particolare riguardo ai precedenti punti, di capacita di apprendimento che consentano, dopo il conseguimento della Laurea Magistrale, di proseguire in modo anche autonomo lo studio nei campi individuati;
i) l'acquisizione di abilita comunicative finalizzate alla trasmissione chiara e razionale, a interlocutori specialisti e non specialisti, delle conclusioni raggiunte, in termini di conoscenze, di metodo e di implicazioni.
Gli sbocchi professionali previsti direttamente per i laureati del Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Filologia, letterature e storia dell'antichita fanno riferimento a impieghi con funzioni di elevata responsabilita in istituzioni culturali pubbliche e private, quali Archivi, Biblioteche, Sovrintendenze, Centri e Fondazioni, Aziende editoriali.
I laureati del Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Filologia, letterature e storia dell'antichita acquisiranno inoltre competenze specifiche per esercitare funzioni di elevata responsabilita in istituzioni nazionali e territoriali operanti nell'articolato settore dei servizi culturali e nell'editoria piu specializzata (con particolare riferimento all'attivita di traduzione dal greco e dal latino e di redazione o di revisione editoriale dei testi greci e latini dell'antichita) e nei settori della diffusione (scritta o orale, nonche via web) della promozione e diffusione della cultura storica e letteraria riguardante il mondo greco-romano classico e tardoantico.
Potranno altresi svolgere attivita piu specificamente di ricerca in organismi e unita di studio presso enti e istituzioni, pubbliche e private, sia italiane che straniere
Il Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Filologia, letterature e storia dell'antichita fornisce inoltre una formazione pienamente funzionale a tutte le attivita collegate con la trasmissione a livello elevato del sapere umanistico, con particolare riguardo alle competenze disciplinari richieste per la professione di docente.
In particolare, i laureati sono messi nella condizione di prevedere come occupazione l'insegnamento nella scuola media, inferiore e superiore, una volta completato il processo di abilitazione all'insegnamento e superati i concorsi previsti dalla normativa vigente.
Gli sbocchi occupazionali e le attivita professionali sopra definiti sono compatibili con l'accesso alle attivita classificate dall'ISTAT sotto il codice M.80 (Istruzione), in particolare M.80.21.1 (Istruzione secondaria di primo grado: scuole medie), M.80.21.2 (Istruzione secondaria di secondo grado: licei e istituzioni che rilascino diplomi di maturita), M.80.3 (Istruzione universitaria e post-universitaria), M.80.4 (Corsi di formazione e perfezionamento e altre attivita di insegnamento), nonche sotto il codice O.92 (Attivita ricreative, culturali e sportive), presso enti pubblici e privati.
I laureati del Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Filologia, letterature e storia dell'antichita hanno la possibilita di accedere, secondo le vigenti disposizioni normative e regolamentari, a Corsi di Dottorato di Ricerca o a Master, specificamente di secondo livello: le attivita obbligatorie del Corso di Laurea Magistrale sono particolarmente idonee alla preparazione per l'accesso a Corsi di Dottorato di Ricerca di ambito antichistico e storico.
Le attivita a libera scelta dello studente, oltre ad essere orientate in maniera piu specifica ad acquisire una preparazione nelle diversificate prospettive professionali previste, a fronte di un 'mercato del lavoro' in continua trasformazione, consentono l'accesso a ulteriori tipologie di Dottorato di Ricerca non strettamente connesso allo studio del Mondo Antico.
Inoltre i 6 cfu conseguibili fra le 'altre attivita', non inquadrate negli ambiti scientifico-disciplinari, saranno indirizzate a conseguire ulteriori conoscenze linguistiche e soprattutto ulteriori abilita informatiche e telematiche, rapportate all'applicazione delle digital humanities alle Scienze dell'antichita.
Lo studente espliciterà le proprie scelte al momento della presentazione,
tramite il sistema informativo di ateneo, del piano di completamento o del piano di studio individuale,
secondo quanto stabilito dal regolamento didattico del corso di studio.

At the end of the course the student will know in depth some important Greek institutions (both public and private, from the archaic to the Roman period), which will have been analyzed through literary, epigraphic, archaeological and iconographic sources.
The student will also learn different skills, useful for verifying the results of another's research and conducting one in first person: he/she will be able to access to the main databases of Greek literary texts and inscriptions and to use some indispensable bibliographic research tools. Both in oral and written communication he/she will have further developed his/her ability to use the specific terminology of the ancient Greek history.

(objectives)
Students of this course will acquire advanced knowledge on Greek literature, improving their competence. Reading and translating a text (or a selection of texts) in original language, they will
acquire exegetical competence, in order to examine Greek literature in many respects, including linguistic, historical, philological, performative, and dramaturgic issues. This course also includes workshops in order to provide students with a very diversified philological competence.

The student will acquire advanced knowledge through: 1) the philological commentary of selected passages; 2) the analysis of the same steps by following different paths - linguistic, historical-literary, anthropological -, questioning each other on the 'permanence' of gender in specific areas of our culture (students will be an active part in this part of the course which takes the form of a research laboratory); 3) commentary on the passages of great authors of Latin literature in the light of the critical-exegetical writings of eminent contemporary philologists.
