The student will acquire specialist skills and methodologies applied in the analysis of texts and literary phenomena of Spanish-speaking Latin-American countries in their cross-cultural dimension, including in relation to the problems of teaching literature. The student will refine the ability to use automatically and problematically latest theoretical tools for a linguistic and cultural analysis of the texts and literary phenomena, as well as the interrelations between literary language and the one of other forms of expression, with attention to the problems of translation and teaching of literature. The student will acquire skills and abilities for independent formulation and elaboration of the thesis.
