Teorema del Campionamento e Trasformazioni di segnali. Campionamento ideale e ricostruzione. Campionamento reale, aliasing, cadenza di Nyquist. Transito di segnali tempo discreto e continuo attraverso sistemi lineari tempo-invarianti (LTI). Segnali PAM digitali multi-livello, codifica di linea binaria e multi-livello. Codifica entropica di sorgente (ottima). Efficienza e ridondanza dei codici. Quantizzazione, campionamento e codifica ad impulsi di segnali (PCM). Esempi applicativi.

Trasmissione di segnali ed elaborazione per l'accesso e la condivisione del canale di comunicazione. Canale di comunicazione e capacita’ di canale. Mezzi trasmissivi: cavo, fibra ottica, radio.
