1. The first analyses the deep and pervasive transformations in economy and society between XIX and XX century, from the first, to second and third industrial revolution;
2. The second will particulary analyses the origin, development and drift of Social State, with special attention to the Italian case.

Metodi Didattici

Study subjects are transformations in production, occupation and legal and salary conditions of workers in Italy and between XIX and XX century. Seminars with trade unions and enterprise representatives will be held and projection of documentary-film and fiction-film focused on labour, in cooperation with the Archivio audiovisivo del Movimento operaio e democratico.
The labour history Laboratory will take place in the second semester. Registration and active participation to the Lab allows to submit an individual or group written paper, to be valued as mid-term exam.

The course is divided into lectures and seminars, and traces the role of women in contemporary times.
We examine, in particular, in the nineteenth century, ie in the first two centuries of modernity, which is also the founding, processes and movements of female emancipation, from the conquest of civil rights and the demand for access to political rights.
In this direction, specific attention takes the suffragist movement.
A second important issue addressed concerns over the image of women as well as self representation as perception of the civil and ecclesiastical institutions.
Another issue concerns the study of sexuality in the nineteenth century social and health studies, but also in much of the literature, mainly concerning the universe of comfort women, and prostitutes.
The analysis of regulated prostitution, carried on in brothels, can penetrate the complex mechanisms, legal sanctions, but also social, health and cultural interconnecting civil society and state.

THIS COURSE PRESENTS AND ANALYZES THE PROCESSES OF SOCIAL POLICY PROGRAMS STUDYING PARTICULARLY THE LOGIC OF GOVERNANCE AND PARTICIPATION

How can psychomotor activity contribute to body-mind balance? To what extent is this indispensable for children's intellectual development and growth? The reference concepts in the evolution of psychomotor activity are derived, first and foremost, by examining pre- and neonatal motility and, secondly, by analyzing psychocorporeal expression and communication in order to ultimately clarify the aims of psychomotor action, even when physiological impairments are present.

The course aims to provide students with the historical and cultural knowledge on the theatre and the main artistic expressions, the basic skills competence to operate in heterogeneous groups and the methodology for specific educational approaches. Teaching also aims to develop all the issues and strategies concerning the performance of a text by analyzing, in such context, the group dynamics and the acquisition of self-consciousness.

THE GOAL OF THE COURSE “SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY OF GROUPS” IS TO PROMOTE THE ACQUISITION OF KNOWLEDGE ON THE SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGICAL PROCESSES THAT LEAD INTERACTIONS IN GROUPS AND IN THE CONTEXT OF THE INTERGROUP RELATIONS. The course aims to introduce and analyze the overall network of services to individuals (social, health and socio-educational), provides a legal framework is essential and a thorough description of the organizational structure of services in various areas (children and family, elderly, disabled, drug addicts, mentally ill, extreme marginality).

THE COURSE IS AIMED AT FAVOURING A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE GLOBAL PHENOMENON OF CIVIC ACTIVISM IN PUBLIC POLICY MAKING. IT IS A MATTER OF FACT THAT WHILE THIS PHENOMENON IS MORE AND MORE RELEVANT AN ADEQUATE DEGREE OF KNOWLEDGE ON IT IS STILL LACKING. THIS TASK IS OF SPECIAL IMPORTANCE IN THIS CASE, SINCE ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP ORGANIZATIONS PLAY A SIGNIFICANT ROLE IN THE WELFARE SYSTEM, BOTH IN TERMS OF PROMOTION AND MANAGEMENT OF SERVICES, AND IN TERMS OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATIONS' STAKEHOLDERS.

Accept students to major contemporary sociological theories and methodologies that are derived from these.

the course will provide knowledge of public and private/public legal bodies used to manage Services and will improve the understanding of normative instruments used by Public Administration to outsource Services; it will illustrate the process of Services and Projects realization by showing practical experiences; specific knowledge will be provided in the application of “Codice dei Contratti” and its particular section “appalti nel sociale”. A closer examination will be given to Services authorizations, functioning, accreditation and quality. The course will also provide hints to better understand Services and to illustrate the new professional competences and responsibilities demanded to Social Workers to manage community welfare processes. During workshops and class practice the course will analyze competences, instruments and activities demanded by territorial integrated work to Social Workers and Social Work Managers

BODY, INTER-SUBJECT AND A NEW IDEA ARE THE CONCEPTS OF MERLEU-PONTY THAT FORM THE BASIS OF MUCH EXPERIMENTAL WORK ON PERCEPTION. THE COGNITIVE ACTIVITY IS NO LONGER UNDERSTOOD AS THE PRODUCT OF ISOLATED INTRAPSYCHIC MECHANISMS, BUT AS THE RESULT OF THE INTERFACE BETWEEN DIFFERENT WORLDS OF EXPERIENCE INTERACTING WITH EACH OTHER. SO THE SEARCH IS NOT CIRCUMSCRIBED TO THE NARROW LIMITS OF A SINGLE PSYCHICAL, BUT IS AWARE OF THE OTHERNESS, THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SUBJECT AND OBJECT, IDENTIFYING BOTH THE CONDITIONS OF POSSIBILITY OF RELATIONSHIP AND COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THESE TWO POLES. IN FACT, THIS NEW AND EXCITING PERSPECTIVE IS THE RESULT OF A LONG AND TORTUOUS JOURNEY THAT DEMOLISHING CERTAINTIES INGRAINED IN WESTERN TRADITION, HAS RETURNED A NEW IMAGE OF THE SUBJECT, CONSIDERED IN ITS INSEPARABLE UNITY OF MIND AND BODY AND HARMONIOUS MUTUAL ADJUSTMENT WITH THE OBJECT OF HIS KNOWLEDGE. THE COURSE IS DIVIDED INTO THREE PARTS: INSTITUTIONAL FORM, FORM OF DEEPENING; SEMINARS AND COMPARISON WITH THE PLAYERS AND AIMS TO ACHIEVE THE FOLLOWING OBJECTIVES:
1. PROVIDE KEY CONCEPTS AND RESEARCH FOUNDATIONS OF ORGANIZATIONAL DISCIPLINE AND SOCIOLOGICAL LAVORISTICHE AND ANALYZE THE INTERCONNECTION WITH OTHER SPORTS THAT ARE SUBJECT TO STUDY HOW THE WORK, THE PRODUCTION ORGANISATIONS, THE MANAGEMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES AND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS.
