Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione
Il CdS conferisce una solida formazione nelle lingue, letterature e culture straniere.
Una congrua ripartizione dei CFU tra le discipline di base e caratterizzanti consente il raggiungimento di un'avanzata competenza nelle lingue, nello studio critico delle letterature moderne, nelle loro diverse espressioni, in area europea ed extra-europea, nonché nell'interpretazione dei fenomeni interculturali e transculturali.
Attraverso modalità di didattica frontale e assistita, detti obiettivi saranno raggiunti con gli strumenti e le metodologie dell'analisi linguistica e della traduzione interculturale, dell'analisi letteraria, filologica e storico-culturale.
Il raggiungimento dei risultati previsti è reso possibile grazie al congruo numero di CFU da conseguire prevalentemente nei settori delle lingue e traduzioni e delle letterature.
Capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione
Il CdS, grazie all'attenta articolazione del percorso formativo, compresa l'individuazione dei settori disciplinari previsti tra le attività Affini e Integrative e una congrua offerta di attività Altre (ex art.
10, comma 5 lett.
d), permette di acquisire capacità di applicazione delle competenze negli ambiti professionali specificati nel Quadro A2a.
Lo sviluppo di tali capacità è reso possibile grazie ad attività mirate a:
- applicare le competenze attive e passive acquisite nelle lingue straniere, in contesti di comunicazione scritta e orale, nei settori del turismo culturale, della traduzione, dell'editoria, della pubblicistica, ecc., sia in ambito nazionale che internazionale.
Le modalità e gli strumenti per l'acquisizione di tali capacità sono: attività di didattica frontale e assistita nei settori delle “Lingue e traduzioni”, esercitazioni linguistiche, laboratorio linguistico, laboratori di analisi del testo e traduzione, altre attività di natura professionalizzante (ex art.
10, comma 5 lett.
d);
- applicare le conoscenze di tipo letterario, filologico e culturale, specialmente in contesti di tipo culturale e interculturale, nei settori dell'editoria, dell'intrattenimento, del turismo culturale, della traduzione letteraria, ecc., sia in ambito nazionale che internazionale.
Le modalità e gli strumenti per l'acquisizione di tali capacità sono: partecipazione ad attività di didattica frontale e assistita nei settori delle “Letterature straniere” e delle “Discipline filologiche”; studio delle discipline storiche, storico-artistiche, teatrali, cinematografiche, delle relazioni internazionali e della comunicazione; partecipazione attiva dello studente ad attività curriculari Altre, quali laboratori, convegni e seminari di analisi critica del testo letterario e/o di studio dei fenomeni culturali, o ad altre attività di natura professionalizzante (ex art.
10, comma 5 lett.
d).Autonomia di giudizio
Il percorso formativo permette di acquisire capacità di raccolta e interpretazione dei dati linguistici e letterari al fine della formazione di giudizi autonomi improntati alla riflessione su temi della comunicazione interculturale e transculturale.
L'acquisizione di tali capacità avverrà attraverso attività didattiche frontali e assistite nei settori delle “Lingue e traduzioni” e delle “Letterature”, nonché attraverso seminari, laboratori ed esercitazioni.
Tale acquisizione sarà verificata tramite prove scritte e orali, nonché discussioni in itinere.
Abilità comunicative
Il percorso formativo permette di acquisire abilità comunicative scritte e orali di buon livello (in italiano e in lingua), che consentano di relazionarsi con interlocutori specialisti e non specialisti, italiani e stranieri, in una prospettiva interculturale, al fine di trasmettere informazioni e idee, e facilitare, nell'ottica dell'intermediazione culturale, la risoluzione di problemi.
L'acquisizione di tali abilità avverrà attraverso attività didattiche frontali e assistite nei settori delle “Lingue e traduzioni” e delle “Letterature”, nonché attraverso seminari, laboratori ed esercitazioni.
Tale acquisizione sarà verificata tramite prove scritte e orali, nonché discussioni in itinere.
Capacità di apprendimento
Il percorso formativo permette di acquisire capacità di apprendimento autonome, che consentano anche, ma non solo, di intraprendere studi successivi (Master di primo livello e Laurea magistrale) in un'ottica di life-long learning.
L'acquisizione di tali capacità avverrà attraverso attività didattiche frontali e assistite nei settori delle “Lingue e traduzioni” e delle “Letterature”, nonché attraverso seminari, laboratori ed esercitazioni.
Tale acquisizione sarà verificata tramite prove scritte e orali, nonché discussioni in itinere.
Requisiti di ammissione
Per l'ammissione al CdS in Lingue e Letterature per la Comunicazione Interculturale si richiedono le conoscenze previste dal Regolamento didattico del CdS, al quale si rimanda anche per quanto riguarda la loro verifica e gli eventuali obblighi formativi aggiuntivi.
Prova finale
La Laurea triennale in Lingue e Letterature per la Comunicazione Interculturale si consegue previo superamento di una prova finale, che consiste nella presentazione di un elaborato scritto.
L'argomento dell'elaborato sarà scelto, di concerto con il relatore, nell'ambito di uno dei settori scientifico-disciplinari caratterizzanti, e sarà vincolato al Laboratorio di analisi del testo e traduzione prescelto dallo studente.
Nell'ambito di tale Laboratorio curriculare, obbligatorio al terzo anno, il laureando acquisirà le abilità metodologiche e pratiche utili ad applicare le conoscenze acquisite nel corso del triennio, in vista della redazione dell'elaborato finale.Orientamento in ingresso
Le azioni di orientamento in ingresso sono improntate alla realizzazione di processi di raccordo con la scuola secondaria di secondo grado.
Si concretizzano sia in attività informative e di approfondimento dei caratteri formativi dei Corsi di Studio (CdS) dell'Ateneo, sia in un impegno condiviso da scuola e università per favorire lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza da parte degli studenti e delle studentesse nel compiere scelte coerenti con le proprie conoscenze, competenze, attitudini e interessi.
Le attività promosse si articolano in:
a) incontri e iniziative rivolte alle future matricole;
b) sviluppo di servizi online (pagine social, sito), realizzazione e pubblicazione di materiali informativi sull'offerta formativa dei CdS (guide di dipartimento, guida breve di Ateneo, locandina dell'offerta formativa, newsletter dell'orientamento).
L'attività di orientamento in ingresso prevede cinque principali attività, distribuite nel corso dell'anno accademico, alle quali partecipano tutti i Dipartimenti e i CdS:
• Giornate di Vita Universitaria (GVU), si svolgono ogni anno nell'arco di circa 4 mesi e sono rivolte agli studenti degli ultimi due anni della scuola secondaria superiore.
Si svolgono in tutti i Dipartimenti dell'Ateneo e costituiscono un'importante occasione per le future matricole per vivere la realtà universitaria.
Gli incontri sono strutturati in modo tale che accanto alla presentazione dei Corsi di Laurea, gli studenti possano anche fare un'esperienza diretta di vita universitaria con la partecipazione ad attività didattiche, laboratori, lezioni o seminari, alle quali partecipano anche studenti seniores che svolgono una significativa mediazione di tipo tutoriale.
Partecipano annualmente circa 4.000 studenti; nel 2022 in via telematica hanno partecipato 1.923 e in presenza 1.788 per un totale di 3.711 utenti.
Inoltre le GVU 2022 hanno totalizzato su YouTube 4.627 visualizzazioni;
• Autorientamento, un progetto destinato agli studenti delle IV classi della scuola secondaria superiore e che si svolge ogni anno nell'arco di 5 mesi.
Si sviluppa in collaborazione diretta con alcune scuole per favorire l'accrescimento della consapevolezza nella scelta del percorso universitario da parte degli studenti.
Il progetto, infatti, è articolato in incontri svolti presso le scuole ed è finalizzato a sollecitare nelle future matricole una riflessione sui propri punti di forza e sui criteri di scelta.
Aspetto caratterizzante il progetto, inoltre, è la presenza degli studenti seniores dei nostri Corsi di Laurea che attraverso la propria esperienza formativa possono offrire un punto di vista attuale rispetto all'organizzazione e al funzionamento del mondo accademico.
Nell'anno scolastico 2021-22 la realizzazione del progetto, in modalità online, ha dato la possibilità a 16 scuole (per un totale di 832 studenti) - dislocate sul territorio romano e laziale - di partecipare.
• Attività di orientamento sviluppate dai singoli Dipartimenti, mediante incontri in presenza e servizi online;
• Incontri presso le scuole ed enti: l'Ufficio orientamento ha ricevuto inviti a partecipare ad eventi di orientamento da parte delle scuole per un totale di 37 inviti e 2 da due enti (Poliferie, un'Associazione di volontariato composta da giovani che si occupano di orientamento nelle zone più periferiche delle città; il Servizio Informagiovani di Roma Capitale).
Concordemente con quanto stabilito in Gloa (Gruppo di Lavoro per l'Orientamento di Ateneo) la procedura è stata la seguente: ogni invito è stato inoltrato ai referenti Gloa presso i dipartimenti e le scuole, a fronte delle diverse possibilità offerte, hanno liberamente scelto di partecipare anche alle proposte del nostro Ateneo.
Si evidenzia che anche in questa attività, come per le altre attività di orientamento, hanno partecipato varie scuole di altre Regioni, grazie alla possibilità dell'online.
• Orientarsi a Roma Tre nel 2022 si è svolta in presenza presso il Nuovo Palazzo degli Uffici di Via Ostiense 133.
Nelle aule del dipartimento di Giurisprudenza sono state organizzate le presentazioni dell'offerta formativa dei Dipartimenti che sono state seguite anche in diretta streaming e che poi sono state caricate su YouTube.
Il portale dell'orientamento realizzato nel 2020 è stato aggiornato e ne è stata realizzata una versione in inglese: orientamento.uniroma3.it.
Rappresenta la manifestazione che riassume le annuali attività di orientamento in ingresso e si svolge ogni anno alla fine dell'anno accademico.
L'evento accoglie, perlopiù, studenti romani che partecipano per mettere definitivamente a fuoco la loro scelta universitaria.
Durante la manifestazione viene presentata l'offerta formativa e sono promossi tutti i principali servizi di Roma Tre, le segreterie didattiche e la segreteria studenti.
I servizi di orientamento online messi a disposizione dei futuri studenti universitari sono nel tempo aumentati, tenendo conto dello sviluppo delle nuove opportunità di comunicazione tramite web e tramite social.
Inoltre, durante tutte le manifestazioni di presentazione dell'offerta formativa, sono illustrati quei siti web di Dipartimento, di Ateneo, Portale dello studente, etc., che possono aiutare gli studenti nella loro scelta.
Infine, l'Ateneo valuta, di volta in volta, l'opportunità di partecipare ad ulteriori occasioni di orientamento in presenza ovvero online (Salone dello studente ed altre iniziative).

Il Dipartimento di Lingue, Letterature e Culture Straniere ha istituito la Commissione Orientamento, Tutorato e Terza Missione (OTTM), che promuove e organizza tali attività.
Nell'ambito delle attività coordinate dalla suddetta Commissione, il CdS promuove e organizza azioni di orientamento in grado di accompagnare studenti e studentesse delle Scuole secondarie di secondo grado nelle scelte degli studi universitari da intraprendere.
Principali azioni di Orientamento:
- Organizzazione di incontri rivolti alle Scuole secondarie di II grado, col fine di presentare l'offerta formativa del Corsi di Studi del Dipartimento.
Tali azioni di orientamento in entrata vogliono contribuire ad aumentare il grado di consapevolezza con cui studenti e studentesse delle Scuole compiono la scelta del percorso universitario da intraprendere.
Gli incontri nelle Scuole hanno, inoltre, l'obiettivo di rafforzare la rete di rapporti del Dipartimento con gli Istituti scolastici del territorio.
- Coordinamento delle azioni dei Tutor di tipo A e formazione degli stessi per lo svolgimento delle proprie mansioni;
- Coordinamento, raccolta dati e monitoraggio delle azioni messe in campo dai Tutor di tipo B;
- Organizzazione, in collaborazione con l'Ufficio Orientamento di Ateneo, della Giornata di Vita Universitaria;
- Produzione di materiali e documentazione promozionale del Dipartimento;
- Coordinamento dei PCTO (Percorsi per le Competenze Trasversali e l'Orientamento), progetti che coinvolgono gli studenti delle Scuole secondarie di secondo grado attraverso una collaborazione formale con gli Istituti di provenienza.
I PCTO hanno, tra i loro obiettivi, anche favorire negli studenti una scelta consapevole del percorso universitario da intraprendere.
I PCTO forniscono anche adeguate informazioni sull'organizzazione del percorso formativo e sui servizi, materiali e immateriali, offerti dalla struttura.
- Incontri di orientamento in sede su richiesta (da inoltrare al coordinatore della Commissione): accoglienza degli studenti e professori per tour della struttura e ospitalità in classe durante una delle lezioni di primo anno
Servizio di orientamento a distanza
Il CdS offre da tempo un servizio di orientamento a distanza rivolto a:
- Studenti delle scuole e diplomati: i tutor sono pronti a rispondere a tutte le domande utili ad una scelta consapevole del percorso formativo più adatto alle tue aspettative personali e professionali, per orientarti in questa delicata fase di investimento sul tuo futuro.
- Esterni: gli studenti di altri atenei o dipartimenti, interessati a saperne di più sulla nostra offerta, possono trovare nei tutor un valido supporto.
Lo stesso vale per chi non è più studente, perché già laureato o perché ha deciso, dopo anni di vita fuori dall'Università, di mettersi di nuovo alla prova.

Il CdS in Lingue e Letterature per la Comunicazione Interculturale ha come obiettivi specifici:
a) l'acquisizione di una conoscenza avanzata di due lingue straniere tra quelle il cui insegnamento è attivato presso il CdS.
La competenza relativa alle due lingue si fonderà sullo sviluppo delle quattro abilità scritto-orali attive e passive, ai fini dello studio dei fenomeni interculturali e transculturali attraverso gli strumenti e le metodologie dell'analisi linguistica e filologica, nonché della teoria e pratica della traduzione.
L'approfondimento di discipline quali la linguistica e la didattica delle lingue, nonché lo studio in altri settori specifici a scelta dello studente, consentiranno di fondare su solide basi le conoscenze acquisite;
b) l'acquisizione di una conoscenza avanzata di due letterature straniere relative alle due lingue prescelte, con particolare attenzione alle dinamiche interculturali e transculturali, con l'obiettivo di affinare la capacità di interpretare fenomeni culturali, attraverso gli strumenti e le metodologie dell'analisi letteraria, culturale e storica.
L'approfondimento di discipline quali la letteratura italiana e la storia, nonché lo studio in altri settori specifici presenti tra le materie affini e integrative, consentiranno di fondare su solide basi ed ampliare ulteriormente le conoscenze acquisite;
c) l'acquisizione di competenze adeguate riguardanti: la lettura, l'analisi critica e la traduzione in italiano di testi in lingua straniera; la produzione scritta di buon livello (in italiano e in lingua); la riscrittura e l'adattamento di testi (in italiano e in lingua), anche in prospettiva transmediale; le strategie argomentative nei diversi ambiti della comunicazione interculturale (in italiano e in lingua).
Tali competenze saranno ulteriormente sviluppate con l'ausilio di specifici strumenti informatici e materiali didattici multimediali, nonché di laboratori specifici di analisi del testo e traduzione nelle lingue il cui insegnamento è attivato presso il CdS, e con altre attività mirate all'applicazione delle suddette competenze in ambito professionale;
d) l'acquisizione di abilità comunicative di buon livello che consentano di relazionarsi con interlocutori specialisti e non specialisti, al fine di trasmettere informazioni, esprimere idee, porre o risolvere problemi e offrire soluzioni;
e) l'acquisizione di capacità di apprendimento autonome, che consentano di intraprendere eventuali studi successivi (Master di primo livello e Laurea Magistrale).
Il CdS non prevede propedeuticità tra i vari insegnamenti all'interno dello stesso anno di corso.
Le propedeuticità si hanno, tuttavia, per la successione delle annualità nel medesimo insegnamento, sia per quanto riguarda le lingue sia per quanto riguarda le letterature (una seconda o una terza annualità di lingua o di letteratura non può essere sostenuta prima della precedente).
Nel rispetto di una ovvia e imprescindibile progressione formativa nell'ambito del macrosettore delle lingue e letterature, non sarà comunque possibile sostenere una seconda annualità di letteratura – qualunque essa sia – senza aver superato la prima annualità della lingua corrispondente, né sostenere una terza annualità di letteratura senza aver superato la seconda annualità della lingua corrispondente.
Per lo stesso principio non sarà possibile ottenere l'idoneità nel 'Laboratorio analisi del testo e traduzione' che si tiene al terzo anno se non si è superata la seconda annualità di Lingua e traduzione e la seconda annualità di Letteratura dell'area linguistico-culturale prescelta per il laboratorio.
Discipline di base e caratterizzanti:
Le attività formative di base e caratterizzanti, che appartengono ai settori scientifico-disciplinari previsti dalla Classe di Laurea, comprendono due lingue e le relative due letterature, cui sono attribuiti un pari numero di CFU.
Pertanto non c'è nel percorso formativo una differenziazione in prima e seconda lingua, ma lo studente può decidere in quale lingua e letteratura laurearsi, mediante la scelta del 'Laboratorio di analisi del testo e traduzione' previsto al terzo anno (cfr Altre attività).
Per i SSD di Lingua e traduzione e i SSD di Letterature straniere, ai corsi da 6 CFU corrispondono 36 ore di didattica assistita (di cui almeno 30 ore di lezione frontale) e ai corsi da 12 CFU corrispondono 72 ore di didattica assistita (di cui almeno 60 ore di lezione frontale); vedi anche art.
14 della sezione 1.
Il Dipartimento offre inoltre un servizio di attività integrative di apprendimento ed esercitazione in aula con Collaboratori Esperti Linguistici (CEL) madrelingua
Sono anche previste attività di laboratorio (laboratorio linguistico per lo sviluppo di abilità di ascolto e produzione; laboratorio informatico per utilizzo software specifici e per gestione testi), nonché studio individuale a completamento delle suddette attività.
NOTA BENE: Le prove relative all'accertamento delle competenze linguistiche (necessarie al raggiungimento del livello previsto per l'annualità) sono propedeutiche allo svolgimento dell'esame di lingua e traduzione e non danno diritto all'acquisizione di CFU autonomi né all'ottenimento di una certificazione linguistica di livello.
Attività Affini e Integrative:
Allo scopo di ampliare in una direzione interdisciplinare le conoscenze acquisite tramite le attività di base e caratterizzanti, e coerentemente con gli obiettivi formativi del Corso di Studio, con il percorso formativo e con gli sbocchi occupazionali, è prevista l'acquisizione di 18 CFU in determinati settori scientifico-disciplinari affini e integrativi.
Lo studente interessato all'approfondimento trasversale e interdisciplinare di competenze relative alla traduzione, al sottotitolaggio e all'adattamento di testi dalla lingua straniera potrà scegliere, in particolare, tra le discipline relative al teatro, al cinema, alla musica (operistica), alla televisione, alla linguistica italiana.
Per un ulteriore sviluppo del profilo interculturale del percorso formativo, sarà inoltre possibile attingere alle discipline demoetnoantropologiche e filosofiche.
La scelta delle discipline storiche e storico-artistiche contribuisce allo sviluppo di ulteriori competenze utili nel campo del turismo culturale, mentre il consolidamento di un profilo spendibile nel settore dell'intermediazione culturale o presso rappresentanze consolari e diplomatiche può essere ottenuto anche grazie alla scelta di un esame in Storia delle relazioni internazionali.
Insegnamenti obbligatori:
Lo studente dovrà scegliere la Filologia attinente a una delle due lingue scelte, tenendo tuttavia conto che per un'eventuale futura ammissione al Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Lingue e Letterature per la Didattica e la Traduzione (LM37) sarà necessaria l'acquisizione di 6 CFU nella Filologia attinente alla lingua di specializzazione.
La scelta delle due letterature è legata alla scelta delle due lingue triennali.
Gli studenti che hanno indicato come lingua lo spagnolo possono scegliere l'insegnamento di Lingua e letterature ispano-americane in alternativa all'insegnamento di Letteratura spagnola.
Gli studenti che hanno indicato come lingua l'inglese possono scegliere l'insegnamento di Lingue e letterature angloamericane in alternativa all'insegnamento di Letteratura inglese.
Una volta effettuata la scelta, gli studenti dovranno portarla avanti negli anni successivi al primo (e nell'eventuale percorso di laurea magistrale), salvo accordi eventualmente presi tra i settori scientifico disciplinari coinvolti e indicati nei programmi di corso.

The course “Educational Linguistics” falls within the domain of the basic learning activities labelled "Philology, General and Applied Linguistics" of the degree course in Languages and Cultural- Linguistic Mediation, specifically the activities aimed at providing basic training in the methods and tools of analysis and reflection proper to language learning and teaching. The course aims to provide: Knowledge of the phenomena that characterize the process of language acquisition (first, second and foreign), with particular attention to the linguistic aspects related to the sequences of acquisition and the development of the ability to use: variability, systematicity and factors internal and external to the individual that affect the path of acquisition. Knowledge of the characteristics of the interaction between native and non-native speaker, and of its effects on the acquisition of L2: modifications and negotiation of input, role of output and feedback. Knowledge of the process of developing competence in the use of a foreign language, with attention to the role of context, input, as well as the learning strategies involved. Knowledge of the processes of developing language skills, through examples of the various languages taught in the Department and in Italian schools, including Italian for foreigners. Development of the metalinguistic reflection, in a transversal way, giving particular importance to the comparison between languages and to the valorization of the linguistic repertoire of the learners. Knowledge of the role of teaching in language learning, with particular reference to the main teaching methodologies developed in research, to optimize and enhance learning processes, including through the use of new digital technologies. Expected learning outcomes: students will know the research on spontaneous and guided learning of foreign languages and the aspects related to the order of acquisition; they will be able to carry out metalinguistic reflections; they will be aware of their linguistic repertoire and will know how to use the comparison between languages to optimize their learning; they will know the processes of learning and use of the foreign language, the role of context and learning strategies; they will know the processes of listening, speaking, reading and writing of foreign languages and Italian L2; they will know the main methodologies and technologies for teaching.

The course is part of the mandatory classes for the Film and Media Studies program of the DAMS BA. If the program generally gives the historical and theoretical background to understand all audiovisual forms, the aim of this class (dedicated to first-year students) is to teach the main frameworks for the analysis and interpretation of film and audiovisual texts. The class opts for a historical perspective, which accounts for the different theories, aesthetics, and cultural models involved in the analysis of the various linguistic solutions, film styles and forms from different moments in film history (i.e., classical Hollywood cinema, modern art cinema, postmodernism, post-classic cinema). The course aims to give to its students the framework needed to understand by themselves which modes of analysis are more effective in considering a specific audiovisual text. The first part of the course provides direct approaches to texts, profiles, documents and phenomena that during the last century changed the notion of theatre and transformed traditions, skills, values, concepts and terms of the theatre practices. In the final part the course will share materials, documents, meetings and fieldworks, in order to orientate the students to take part in ongoing projects of their cultural context.

Slavonic Philology is one of the characteristic training activities of the "Philological disciplines" area. One of the main aims of this Course of Study is the acquisition of competences in two foreign languages, which is based on the development of the four active and passive written-oral skills, to analyse the study of intercultural and transcultural phenomena through the tools and methodologies of linguistic and philological analysis, as well as the theory and practice of translation. English Language and Translation III is amongst the distinguishing activities of the "Language and translation" area. The aim of the module is to provide students with level C1 (based on the CEFR) and to enhance their language strategies. It also aims at developing their ability to move in the linguistic context, both at a diachronic and a diatopic level, and to consolidate their metatextual consideration skills.
