Degree Course: Archaeology and Art History

Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione
I laureati in Archeologia e storia dell'arte devono possedere una buona formazione di base e un adeguato spettro di conoscenze e di competenze nei vari settori dei beni culturali (patrimonio archeologico; storico-artistico); possedere adeguate competenze relativamente alla legislazione e all'amministrazione e alla valorizzazione nel settore dei beni culturali; possedere la padronanza scritta e orale di almeno una lingua dell'Unione Europea, oltre all'italiano; essere in grado di utilizzare i principali strumenti informatici di gestione dei dati e della comunicazione telematica negli ambiti specifici di competenza.
Tali capacità saranno acquisite attraverso lezioni frontali, esercitazioni, attività seminariali e laboratoriali, studio individuale.
Il loro accertamento avverrà mediante verifiche in itinere, esercitazioni, prove orali e/o scritte, e soprattutto attraverso l'elaborato finale, discusso davanti ad una commissione.Capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione
I laureati in Archeologia e storia dell'arte sono capaci di utilizzare software specifici applicati ai Beni culturali; hanno competenza nella gestione delle informazioni, comprese quelle ottenibili da ricerche on-line (Banche dati etc); hanno competenza degli aspetti storico-tecnici riguardanti le principali classi di materiali e manufatti e del loro stato di conservazione.
Le conoscenze e capacità di comprensione saranno acquisite tramite lezioni frontali, esercitazioni, seminari, studio individuale, nell'ambito delle attività formative relative alle discipline archeologiche, storico-artistiche, alle letterature classiche, alla letteratura e lingua italiana alle discipline geografiche, alle discipline storiche, alle discipline metodologiche.
Le capacità di apprendimento raggiunte saranno verificate attraverso prove orali e/o scritte anche in itinere; lo studente dovrà mostrare nella prova scritta finale di essere in grado di elaborare un testo di carattere argomentativo coeso e coerente, che dimostri un sicuro possesso delle conoscenze e delle metodologie richieste nel campo di studi prescelto

L'acquisizione delle abilità comunicative sarà sottoposta a verifica periodica nel corso di appositi incontri seminariali tramite elaborati, colloqui, prove in itinere, attraverso l'uso dei principali strumenti informatici specialistici, attraverso il controllo delle varie fasi della redazione dell'elaborato finale.Capacità di apprendimento

Per l'ammissione al Corso di Laurea in Archeologia e storia dell'arte sono richieste le conoscenze comunemente acquisite in seguito al superamento dell'Esame di Stato che conclude il ciclo degli studi secondari, con particolare riguardo alle materie letterarie, storico artistiche, storiche e geografiche.
Tali conoscenze saranno valutate con prove organizzate a cura della Scuola di Lettere, Filosofia e Lingue al momento dell'accesso ai Corsi.
L'eventuale presenza di debiti formativi sarà colmata attraverso obblighi aggiuntivi.
Le specificazioni inerenti alle conoscenze richieste per l'accesso, le modalità di verifica, nonché gli obblighi formativi aggiuntivi eventualmente necessari saranno definiti nel regolamento didattico.
Prova finale
La Laurea in Archeologia e Storia dell'arte si consegue previo superamento di una prova finale, che consiste nella presentazione e discussione di un elaborato scritto in una delle discipline previste nel piano di studio dello studente.
Per la determinazione dell'argomento dell'elaborato per la prova finale, lo studente deve aver conseguito almeno 120 CFU.
Per essere ammesso alla discussione dell'elaborato per la prova finale, che porta all'acquisizione di 6 crediti, lo studente deve aver conseguito 174 crediti, comprensivi dei crediti previsti per la conoscenza della lingua straniera.
Orientamento in ingresso
Le azioni di orientamento in ingresso sono improntate alla realizzazione di processi di raccordo con la scuola media secondaria.
Si concretizzano in attività di carattere informativo sui Corsi di Studio (CdS) dell’Ateneo ma anche come impegno condiviso da scuola e università per favorire lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza da parte degli studenti nel compiere scelte coerenti con le proprie conoscenze, competenze, attitudini e interessi.
Le attività promosse si articolano in:
a) autorientamento;
b) incontri e manifestazioni informative rivolte alle future matricole;
c) sviluppo di servizi online e pubblicazione di guide sull’offerta formativa dei CdS.
Tra le attività svolte in collaborazione con le scuole per lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza nella scelta, il progetto di autorientamento è un intervento che consente di promuovere un raccordo particolarmente qualificato con alcune scuole medie superiori.
Il progetto, infatti, è articolato in incontri svolti presso le scuole ed è finalizzato a sollecitare nelle future matricole una riflessione sui propri punti di forza e sui criteri di scelta.
La presentazione dell’offerta formativa agli studenti delle scuole superiori prevede tre eventi principali distribuiti nel corso dell’anno accademico ai quali partecipano tutti i CdS.
• Salone dello studente, si svolge presso la fiera di Roma fra ottobre e novembre e coinvolge tradizionalmente tutti gli Atenei del Lazio e molti Atenei fuori Regione, Enti pubblici e privati che si occupano di Formazione e Lavoro.
Roma Tre partecipa a questo evento con un proprio spazio espositivo, con conferenze di presentazione dell’offerta formativa dell’Ateneo e promuove i propri Dipartimenti scientifici grazie all’iniziativa Roma 1,2,3 … Scienze;
• Giornate di Vita Universitaria (GVU), si svolgono ogni anno da dicembre a marzo e sono rivolte agli studenti degli ultimi due anni della scuola secondaria superiore.
Si svolgono in tutti i Dipartimenti dell’Ateneo e costituiscono un’importante occasione per le future matricole per vivere la realtà universitaria.
Gli incontri sono strutturati in modo tale che accanto alla presentazione dei Corsi di Laurea, gli studenti possano anche fare un’esperienza diretta di vita universitaria con la partecipazione ad attività didattiche, laboratori, lezioni o seminari, alle quali partecipano anche studenti seniores che svolgono una significativa mediazione di tipo tutoriale.
Partecipano annualmente circa 5.000 studenti;
• Orientarsi a Roma Tre, rappresenta la manifestazione che chiude le annuali attività di orientamento in ingresso e si svolge in Ateneo a luglio di ogni anno.
L’evento accoglie, perlopiù, studenti romani che partecipano per mettere definitivamente a fuoco la loro scelta universitaria.
Durante la manifestazione viene presentata l’offerta formativa e sono presenti, con un proprio spazio, tutti i principali servizi di Roma Tre, le segreterie didattiche e la segreteria studenti.
I servizi online messi a disposizione dei futuri studenti universitari nel tempo sono aumentati tenendo conto dello sviluppo delle nuove opportunità di comunicazione tramite web.
Inoltre, durante tutte le manifestazioni di presentazione dell’offerta formativa, sono illustrati quei servizi online (siti web di Dipartimento, di Ateneo, Portale dello studente etc.) che possono aiutare gli studenti nella loro scelta.
Il Corso di Studio in breve
Il Corso di Studio Archeologia e Storia dell'arte, accostando alle tradizionali conoscenze umanistiche storiche, filologiche, letterarie e giuridiche le metodologie e gli strumenti scientifici e tecnici è finalizzato alla formazione di laureati con competenze di base nelle distinte metodologie delle scienze archeologiche e storico artistiche (nell'ambito dell'archeologia preistorica e protostorica del Mediterraneo e dei paesi europei, del mondo greco, etrusco-italico e romano, della topografia antica, del Vicino Oriente, della cultura di età medievale, moderna e contemporanea).
Il Corso di Studio si articola in tre anni durante i quali lo studente dovrà superare un numero massimo di 20 prove d'esame.
Per conseguire la Laurea in Archeologia e Storia dell'arte lo studente dovrà acquisire 180 crediti formativi (CFU).
Il percorso formativo prevede un unico curriculum orientabile in percorsi e si articola in una serie di prove di esame nelle discipline di base (tot.
42-54 CFU), finalizzate all'acquisizione di conoscenze e competenze in Lingua e letteratura italiana; Discipline storiche; Civiltà antiche e medievali; Discipline geografiche e antropologiche; nelle discipline caratterizzanti (tot.
66-72 CFU), finalizzate all'acquisizione di conoscenze e competenze in Discipline relative ai beni storico-archeologici e artistici, archivistici e librari, demoetnoantropologici e ambientali; Legislazione e gestione dei beni culturali; nelle discipline affini e integrative (tot.
18-24 CFU), finalizzate all'acquisizione di conoscenze specifiche.
Sono inoltre previste 4 prove di esame a scelta dello studente (tot.
18-24 CFU) e idoneità da conseguire rispettivamente nella formazione linguistica e in altre attività formative quali laboratori e ricerca sul campo (ricognizione, scavo archeologico), tirocini, stage, etc.

12-18 CFU).
Infine 6 CFU sono riservati alla prova finale, ovvero all'elaborazione di una tesi su aspetti particolari delle discipline curricolari.
La tesi conclusiva della laurea triennale, sebbene preveda una ricerca di primo livello, rappresenta un'esperienza rilevante ai fini di una consapevole maturazione critica del candidato.
Al momento della consegna dei piani di studio, prevista nel primo anno di corso, lo studente dovrà indicare l'indirizzo prescelto, avvalendosi della consulenza di un professore (tutore).
La formazione dello studente si attuerà sia attraverso la frequenza dei corsi teorici e lo studio individuale, sia attraverso il confronto e il dialogo con i docenti.
La didattica prevede lezioni frontali, esercitazioni, seminari, attività pratiche, di laboratorio e sul campo, eventuali escursioni e visite guidate.
I materiali didattici, vengono indicati dai docenti e in taluni casi forniti in formato elettronico.
L'acquisizione delle conoscenze sarà accertata mediante le prove di profitto.
Durante il percorso formativo triennale, lo studente dovrà superare le prove per l'accertamento delle conoscenze di una lingua straniera (idoneità).
Certificazioni standard riconosciute a livello europeo in possesso degli studenti all'atto dell'iscrizione potranno essere trasformate nei CFU previsti dall'ordinamento didattico per l'idoneità, previa valutazione del Centro Linguistico di Ateneo (CLA).

The course is aimed at students of the Bachelor's Degree and wants to provide the methodological tools and the basic knowledge for the study of the history of art in Italy from the beginning of the XIV to the end of the XVIII century. Through a chronological path we intend to provide the lines of development of sculpture painting and architecture in Italy between the eighteenth and eighteenth centuries. The objective is first of all the acquisition by the student of the ability to orientate stylistically and critically between the very important junctions of the history of modern art of the time. At the end of the course the student will also be able to deal with the stylistic and technical analysis of a work and to understand what information can be drawn from the work itself regarding its placement or entry into a museum, its critical history and to its iconography.
