The course aims at introducing student in an extremely important area of EU law with significant influences on a thriving economic activity, enhancing their ability to understand the general system of the European Union law and its implication on national systems.

This class will introduce to the problems of Justice both on the theoretical aspects and on the practical ones. The period considered is up to the reforms of late eighteenth century, the eve of the contemporary judiciaries.
Since the period considered is so long, we will cocentrate on the main models and some specific cases. We will distinguish the different assets of the civil ad criminal justice, with the focus on Italian history with some references to other European experiences.

At the end of this course, successful students will:
Be familiar with the more relevant internal market regulations and their application and interpretation by the European Court of Justice Understand the effects that the application of European rules and principles have on Member States Administrative Law;
To develop critical skills of analysis and interpretation of the EU Economic constitution Have improved verbal and written communication skills with specific regard to European law and Administrative law.

The course “Economic Statistics” aims to provide students with conceptual and analytical tools to measure economic phenomena by statistical approach. In particular, in this course a basic knowledge will be provided concerning national accounting, time and space indexes, introduction to economic models.

The aim of this course is to provide its participants with a comprehensive understanding of the immigration and asylum policy of the European Union from a legal point of view. The most recent developments in the field will be analyzed, especially the latest work by the European Commission and the main case-law of the European Court of Justice.

Already in the 1930s such an approach was indicated by the Italian jurist Carnelutti as "saper fare": an essential part of the education of lawyers.

The main goal of the course is to ponder on some of the main potentialities as well as limits of the market from the point of view of social justice. The assumption, to this regard, is that too often the positions held, no matter whether they deprecate or extol the markets, are based on ideological prejudices. More thoutghful evaluations are needed.

DERECHO IBERO-AMERICANO(DIRITTO IBERO-AMERICANO): The course analyzes the general structure of the State and its local branches in Spain and in South America.
