Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione
Il complesso di discipline teoretiche impartite attraverso gli insegnamenti curricolari riconducibili ai settori (M-FIL/01, M-FIL/03, M-FIL/05 )consentirà agli studenti una comprensione critica approfondita della struttura formale e sostanziale sottesa all'informazione mentre lo studio delle discipline riconducibili ai settori L-FIL-LETT11, L-LIN/01, forniranno gli strumenti per la comprensione fine dei processi di comunicazione testuale.
L'approfondimento delle discipline sociali riconducibili ai settori SPS/08, SPS/06, SPS/01 forniranno una comprensione critica dei fenomeni sociali,economici e tecnici sottesi alle diverse forme di comunicazione: pubblica, d'impresa, pubblicitaria, istituzionale.
Capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione
Lo studio delle metodologie e l'analisi delle tecniche della comunicazione ( L-ART/, L-Art/07 produrrà la comprensione della struttura e dei contenuti dei compiti professionali nei media, nella pubblica amministrazione, nell'industria culturale, nei servizi, nei consumi e nelle istituzioni di mediazione interculturale.
Queste conoscenze unitamente alla pratica rappresentata dai tirocini conferiranno abilità di scrittura idonee alla produzione di contenuti informativi (anche attraverso l'uso di nuove tecnologie informatiche), soprattutto nell'ambito delle attività redazionali; lo studio della lingua dell'Unione Europea con riferimento anche ai lessici disciplinari porrà i laureati in grado di comunicare fluentemente, in forma scritta e orale.
L'analisi della struttura organizzativa offerta dalle discipline riconducibili ai settori SECS-P/06 e SECS-P/08 conferiranno competenze manageriali, organizzative e gestionali connesse alle responsabilità nelle organizzazioni giornalistiche e editoriali.Autonomia di giudizio
A conclusione del curriculum i laureati, sulla base delle conoscenze analitiche sia di impianto teorico linguistico che mediologico e sociale e delle pratiche di laboratorio, nonché delle verifiche rappresentate dalle prove di esame e di laboratorio avranno la capacità di raccogliere dati e interpretare criticamente testi provenienti dalla stampa, dalla radio, dalla televisione e dalla pubblicità, nonché di formulare motivati giudizi autonomi sui processi sociali, economici, giuridici e politici ad essi sottesi e ai loro effetti sulla formazione dell'opinione pubblicaAbilità comunicative
A conclusione del curriculum i laureati avranno approfondito attraverso lo studio teorico ( discipline semiotiche e linguistiche) e l'analisi storico-sociale e giuridico dei media ( discipline sociali e mediologiche, il panorama dei processi di comunicazione dal piano interpersonale a quello sociale politico e di impresa istituzionale e in virtù delle esercitazioni pratiche cui avranno atteso possederanno capacità di comunicare con chiarezza contenuti e
abilità di progettazione di contenuti, anche di tipo multimediale e ipertestuale, e servizi per ambienti
multipiattaforma (web, tv digitale, telefonia ecc.);
abilità di comunicazione in relazione ad una conoscenza critica della specificità dei destinatari;
competenze per la progettazione e la realizzazione di prodotti per l'informazione specializzata e periodica sia di
tipo tradizionale che innovativo.
Capacità di apprendimento
L'impegno sul piano teorico e disciplinare e la pratica dei tirocini conferiranno ai laureati capacità padronanza metodologica e abilità di apprendimento utili per l'accesso al Dottorato di ricerca o a un Master anche di secondo livello.
Le attività obbligatorie del corso di Laurea sono finalizzate all'accesso ai Dottorati nelle seguenti aree disciplinari: Filosofia, Scienze umane e Relazioni internazionali.
Le attività a libera scelta permettono di migliorare la preparazione per tali Dottorati, nonché di agevolare l'accesso ad altre tipologie di Dottorato.
Requisiti di ammissione
Per l'ammissione al corso di Laurea Magistrale in INFORMAZIONE, EDITORIA E GIORNALISMO sono richieste le
conoscenze corrispondenti al possesso di una Laurea nonché quelle conoscenze che permettono di intraprendere
con successo un percorso formativo secondo questo ordinamento.
Le conoscenze richieste per l'ammissione sono automaticamente accertate in ciascuno dei due casi seguenti:
a) conseguimento del titolo di I livello in una delle seguenti classi di Laurea:
L-3 Discipline delle arti figurative, della musica, dello spettacolo e della moda
L-5 Filosofia
L-10 Lettere
L-11 Lingue culture moderne
L-12 Mediazione linguistica
L-20 Scienze della Comunicazione
L-42 Storia
Il titolo di I livello deve essere comprensivo di 60 CFU complessivi nei settori scientifico disciplinari indicati in un
elenco definito a livello di Regolamento del Corso di Studi;
b) conseguimento del titolo di I livello in una classe diversa da quelle di cui al punto a)comprensivo di almeno 90
CFU complessivi nei settori scientifico disciplinari indicati in un elenco definito a livello di Regolamento del Corso di
Studi.
Negli altri casi l'accertamento è compiuto secondo modalità dettagliate definite dal Regolamento del corso di Laurea Magistrale e destinate ad appurare eventuali carenze specifiche ( debiti formativi) da colmare attraverso l'eventuale frequenza a specifici corsi di recupero entro il primo anno di corso.
Prova finale
La Laurea Magistrale in INFORMAZIONE, EDITORIA E GIORNALISMO si consegue previo superamento di una prova
finale, che consiste nella presentazione e discussione di una tesi elaborata in forma originale dallo studente sotto la
guida di un relatore, nell'ambito di uno dei settori scientifico-disciplinari presenti nell'ordinamento del corso di
Laurea per il quale sono previsti insegnamenti nel regolamento del corso di Laurea e nel quale lo studente ha
conseguito almeno crediti.
Le modalità per la determinazione e la preparazione dell'argomento della tesi nonché per la scelta del relatore sono
fissate nel Regolamento del corso di Laurea Magistrale secondo le linee stabilite dal Consiglio di Facoltà.
Per essere ammesso alla discussione dell'elaborato per la prova finale, che porta all'acquisizione di (24 o 30)
crediti, lo studente deve aver conseguito (96 o 90) crediti.
Le modalità dello svolgimento della prova finale sono
fissate nel Regolamento del corso di Laurea Magistrale secondo le linee stabilite dal Consiglio di Facoltà.
Sbocchi occupazionali e professionali previsti per i laureati
Gli sbocchi professionali previsti direttamente per i laureati nel corso di Laurea Magistrale in INFORMAZIONE,
EDITORIA E GIORNALISMO sono nei diversi comparti delle imprese giornalistiche ed editoriali, con particolare
riferimento alle professionalità emergenti nel settore dell'informazione e della progettazione di contenuti
multimediali, nell'attività di produzione cinematografica, di video e di programmi televisivi, nelle attività delle
agenzie di stampa, nelle attività legate alla pubblicità, nell'organizzazione di convegni e fiere, nelle attività di
biblioteche ed archivi.
Le attività a libera scelta dello studente possono permettere di migliorare la sua preparazione per questi sbocchi
professionali, nonché di agevolare l'accesso ad altri sbocchi professionali.
I laureati del corso di Laurea Magistrale in INFORMAZIONE, EDITORIA E GIORNALISMO avranno la possibilità di
accedere ad un corso di Dottorato di ricerca, secondo le disposizioni dei regolamenti ministeriali e dei singoli Atenei,
o ad un Master anche di secondo livello secondo le normative dell'Ateneo che lo organizza.

Orientamento in ingresso
Le attività di orientamento, tirocinio, stage e placement, a livello di Ateneo, sono promosse e coordinate dal Gruppo di Lavoro per l’Orientamento di Ateneo (GLOA) costituito, sino ad ora, da due delegati dei Presidi per ciascuna Facoltà, dalla Responsabile della Divisione Politiche per gli Studenti e coordinato dal delegato del Rettore per le politiche di orientamento.
Il GLOA promuove azioni relative all’orientamento in ingresso, all’orientamento in itinere (tutorato, tirocini e stage) e all’orientamento in uscita (politiche attive per il lavoro e placement).
Orientamento in ingresso
Le azioni di orientamento in ingresso sono improntate alla realizzazione di processi di raccordo con la scuola secondaria di secondo grado.
Si concretizzano in attività di carattere informativo sui Corsi di Studio (CdS) dell’Ateneo ma anche come impegno condiviso da Scuola e Università per favorire lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza da parte degli studenti nel compiere scelte coerenti con le proprie conoscenze, competenze, attitudini e interessi.
Le attività promosse si articolano in:
a) seminari e attività formative realizzate in collaborazione con i docenti della scuola;
b) incontri e manifestazioni informative rivolte alle future matricole;
c) sviluppo di servizi on line per l’orientamento e l’auto-orientamento.
Tra le attività svolte in collaborazione con le scuole, il “progetto di auto-orientamento” costituisce un notevole impegno finalizzato a promuovere un raccordo particolarmente qualificato con alcune scuole superiori che costituiscono il principale “bacino di utenza” di Roma Tre.
Il progetto è articolato in incontri svolti presso le scuole dagli esperti dell’Ufficio Orientamento con la collaborazione di studenti seniores ed è finalizzato a sollecitare nelle future matricole una riflessione sui propri punti di forza e sui criteri di scelta (gli incontri si svolgono nel periodo ottobre-febbraio).
La presentazione dell’offerta formativa agli studenti delle scuole superiori prevede tre eventi principali, ai quali partecipano tutti i CdS, distribuiti nel corso dell’anno accademico.
• Salone dello studente “Campus orienta”, si svolge presso la fiera di Roma nel periodo ottobre/novembre, coinvolge tradizionalmente tutti gli Atenei del Lazio e molti Atenei fuori Regione, Enti pubblici e privati che si occupano di Formazione e Lavoro.
Roma Tre partecipa a questo evento con un proprio spazio espositivo e con conferenze di presentazione dell’offerta formativa dell’Ateneo.
• Le Giornate di Vita Universitaria (GVU) si svolgono nel periodo gennaio/febbraio e sono rivolte agli studenti degli ultimi due anni della scuola secondaria superiore.
Partecipano annualmente oltre 6.000 studenti delle secondarie.
Si svolgono in tutte le Facoltà dell’Ateneo e costituiscono una importante occasione delle future matricole per vivere la realtà universitaria.
Durante gli incontri, oltre alla presentazione dei CdS, si sollecita l’esperienza diretta degli studenti alla vita universitaria con la partecipazione ad attività didattiche, laboratori, lezioni o seminari, alle quali partecipano anche studenti seniores che svolgono una mediazione di tipo tutoriale.
• Orientarsi a Roma Tre rappresenta la manifestazione che chiude le annuali attività di orientamento in ingresso e si svolge in Ateneo a luglio di ogni anno.
L’evento accoglie mediamente circa 3.000 studenti romani e non, che partecipano per mettere definitivamente a fuoco la loro scelta universitaria.
Oltre all’offerta formativa sono presentati tutti i principali servizi di Roma Tre rivolti agli studenti e le segreterie didattiche sono a disposizione per tutte le informazioni relative alle pratiche di immatricolazione.
In tutte le manifestazioni di presentazione dell’offerta formativa, sono illustrati anche i vari servizi on line che possono aiutare gli studenti nella scelta: dai siti web delle Facoltà al sito del POS (Prove di Orientamento Simulate) che consente alle future matricole di autovalutarsi rispetto ai requisiti di accesso per tutti i CdS di Roma Tre.
In tutte le manifestazioni che si svolgono in Ateneo sono somministrati ai partecipanti questionari di soddisfazione che vengono elaborati ed utilizzati per proporre miglioramenti all’organizzazione degli eventi.
Il Corso di Studio in breve
l corso di Laurea Magistrale in Informazione, Editoria e giornalismo,attraverso la scelta tra vari insegnamenti, consentirà a ciascuno studente di perseguire i propri interessi e attitudini, dando loro la possibilità di costruire percorsi volti alla produzione e gestione dell’informazione, all’editoria libraria cartacea, multimediale o alle diverse forme del giornalismo, generalista o specifico.
In particolare, il corso mira a fornire allo studente le conoscenze e i metodi propri del lavoro di gestione dei contenuti, con particolare riferimento alle necessità gestionali ed organizzative delle imprese giornalistiche e editoriali (cartacee, audiovisive, on line) e dell'editoria periodica specializzata e non specializzata, in un contesto nazionale ed internazionale, e nella costante consapevolezza del carattere globale dei processi di comunicazione nella società contemporanea.
Il laureato dovrà, in particolare, saper utilizzare le nuove tecnologie della comunicazione in funzione delle necessità gestionali ed organizzative delle imprese giornalistiche e editoriali (cartacee, audiovisive, on line) e dell'editoria periodica specializzata e non specializzata.
Ciò sarà perseguito attraverso l’integrazione degli insegnamenti curricolari nelle aree: Filosofico cognitive, Linguistiche e semiotiche, Filosofico-storico-politiche, Giuridico-economico sociologiche, Informatiche; sia con la pratica nei laboratori di scrittura e media, che attraverso periodi di tirocinio e stage presso imprese che operano nei settori di riferimento e con soggiorni anche presso altre Università italiane e straniere, nel quadro di accordi nazionali e internazionali dell’Ateneo Roma Tre.
Lo studente espliciterà le proprie scelte al momento della presentazione,
tramite il sistema informativo di ateneo, del piano di completamento o del piano di studio individuale,
secondo quanto stabilito dal regolamento didattico del corso di studio.

(objectives)
The aim is to provide tools for analysis and interpretation of journalistic textuality, deepening the narrative structure of the text as well as its expressive organization. To this goal it will be selected examples from newspapers and on-line news, and examples from textuality related to journalism, like publishing and advertising. In the classes there will be tutorials and workshops that are aimed to develop the analytical skills of students.

The course is divided into two parts. The first part has the aim to illustrate how the historical perspective, the sociolinguistics, the cognitive grammar, the pragmatics and the semiotics can analyze the language of newspapers highlighting the lexical, syntactic and morphological features and the intercultural aspects of different texts. A part of course will focus on the formats and specialized languages.
The goal of the second part (prof. Simone) is to illustrate the main semantic phenomena, with special emphasis on lexical structure and the crucial lexical processes. The conceptual content will be applied to written texts, and particular from journals, periodicals and media broadcastings.
