Besides providing an introduction to the international law sources and institutions, the course will also survey the rules applicable in the main areas of concern in the intercourse between States. At the end of the course students should possess a method having been engaged in the assessment of some of the most meaningful cases, mainly from the practice of the UN and of the International Court of Justice.

The course in Book Publishing will provide students with a wide range of cultural and technical details on the contemporary art of publishing: typologies of firms, organization structures, different kinds professionals involved and their relevant competence and skills, updated ways of producing and distributing books, main items concerning the copyright norms.
Side objectives: acquisition of critical tools to let students cope with the vast mass of current book production and make the best use of the opportunities provided by new technologies and globalnetworks.

The course aims at analyzing the ways in which the artistic and cultural institutions (museums, art galleries, theatres, cinema, festivals and cultural events) contribute, on the one hand, to produce the carrier of the objects and the artists and, on the other hand, to shape the processes of reception.

This course is aimed in the first instance to analyze the profiles of the advertising phenomenon, in terms of culture, social, economic and ethical. Then, taking the practices and organizational structures of the industry by providing a concrete vision of the phenomenon and updated.

The course will introduce the basic concepts in relation to the public communication, and it will provide to the students the analytical tools for analyzing how the public discourse is produced. A special focus will be devoted to the impact of medial texts in the process of formation of the public opinion.
