Autonomia di giudizio
L'autonomia di giudizio sarà acquisita mediante lezioni tenute anche in forma seminariale, organizzate dal corso di laurea o variamente previste all'interno dei singoli SSD.
Le attività suddette dovranno consentire una corretta interpretazione critica dei testi e delle fonti documentarie, attraverso la quale lo studente sarà in grado di orientarsi criticamente, collegare fra loro i vari ambiti dei saperi letterari linguistici e filologici e valutare autonomamente i documenti oggetto degli studi.
Egli sarà inoltre in grado di elaborare una riflessione critica sul ruolo che ciascuna disciplina occupa nella società odierna, sulla sua storia ed evoluzione anche in rapporto ai mutamenti storico-culturali e metodologici.
La verifica del percorso di apprendimento dello studente avverrà attraverso verifiche in itinere, esercitazioni, prove orali e/o scritte, e soprattutto attraverso l'elaborato finale, discusso davanti ad una commissione.Abilità comunicative
Le abilità comunicative necessarie a trasmettere in modo chiaro e privo di ambiguità, sia ad interlocutori specialisti, sia a non specialisti, il metodo e i risultati della ricerca scientifica relativa alla varie discipline del Corso di laurea saranno conseguite attraverso le varie attività formative previste nel corso.
L'acquisizione delle abilità comunicative sarà sottoposta a verifica periodica nel corso di appositi incontri seminariali tramite elaborati, colloqui, prove in itinere, attraverso l'uso dei principali strumenti informatici specialistici, attraverso il controllo delle varie fasi della redazione dell'elaborato finale.Capacità di apprendimento
L'acquisizione della capacità di apprendimento sarà ottenuta attraverso il complessivo iter di studio, con particolare riguardo all'impostazione della metodologia di apprendimento, all'organizzazione del tempo di studio, alla ricerca bibliografica anche attraverso l'uso di strumenti informatici, allo studio dei testi e all'analisi delle fonti, alla partecipazione alle attività seminariali, all'attività di ricerca finalizzata alla predisposizione dell'elaborato finale.
La verifica avverrà tramite l'analisi della carriera del singolo studente, in relazione al risultato delle singole prove d'esame, e alla valutazione delle autonome capacità di apprendimento maturate durante la stesura dell'elaborato finale.Requisiti di ammissione
Per l'ammissione al Corso di Laurea in Lettere sono richieste le conoscenze comunemente acquisite in seguito al superamento dell'Esame di Stato che conclude il ciclo degli studi secondari, con particolare riguardo alle materie letterarie, storiche e geografiche.
Tali conoscenze saranno valutate con prove organizzate a cura della Scuola di Lettere, Filosofia e Lingue al momento dell'accesso ai Corsi.
L'eventuale presenza di debiti formativi sarà colmata attraverso obblighi aggiuntivi.
Le specificazioni inerenti alle conoscenze richieste per l'accesso, le modalità di verifica, nonché gli obblighi formativi aggiuntivi eventualmente necessari saranno definiti nel regolamento didattico.Prova finale

La Laurea in Lettere si consegue previo superamento di una prova finale, che consiste nella presentazione e discussione di un elaborato scritto, prodotto dal candidato su un argomento scelto nell'ambito di uno dei SSD presenti nell'Ordinamento del Corso di Laurea, per il quale siano previsti insegnamenti nel Regolamento del Corso di Laurea e nel quale lo studente abbia conseguito almeno 6 CFU.

Preliminarmente alla determinazione dell'argomento dell'elaborato per la prova finale, lo studente deve aver conseguito almeno 120 CFU.
Le modalità per la determinazione dell'argomento dell'elaborato e per la sua preparazione sono fissate nel Regolamento del Corso di Laurea, deliberato dal Consiglio di Dipartimento.

Per essere ammesso alla discussione dell'elaborato per la prova finale, che porta all'acquisizione di 6 CFU, lo studente deve aver conseguito 174 CFU, comprensivi di quelli previsti per l'accertamento della conoscenza di una lingua dell'Unione Europea diversa dall'italiano.
Le modalità dello svolgimento della prova finale sono fissate nel Regolamento del Corso di Laurea, deliberato dal Consiglio di Dipartimento.
Orientamento in ingresso
Le attività di orientamento, tirocinio, stage e placement, a livello di Ateneo, sono promosse e coordinate dal Gruppo di Lavoro per l’Orientamento di Ateneo (GLOA) costituito dal Delegato del Rettore per le politiche di orientamento, con ruolo di coordinatore, da due delegati dei Direttori per ciascun Dipartimento, un Delegato dei Presidenti per le due Scuole e dalla Responsabile della Divisione Politiche per gli Studenti.
Il GLOA promuove azioni relative all’orientamento in ingresso, all’orientamento in itinere (tutorato, tirocini e stage) e all’orientamento in uscita (politiche attive per il lavoro e placement) la cui organizzazione e realizzazione è affidata, rispettivamente, all’Ufficio orientamento, all’Ufficio stage e tirocini e all’Ufficio job placement.
Orientamento in ingresso
Le azioni di orientamento in ingresso sono improntate alla realizzazione di processi di raccordo con la scuola media secondaria.
Si concretizzano in attività di carattere informativo sui Corsi di Studio (CdS) dell’Ateneo ma anche come impegno condiviso da scuola e università per favorire lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza da parte degli studenti nel compiere scelte coerenti con le proprie conoscenze, competenze, attitudini e interessi.
Le attività promosse si articolano in:
a) autorientamento;
b) incontri e manifestazioni informative rivolte alle future matricole;
c) sviluppo di servizi online e pubblicazione di guide sull’offerta formativa dei CdS.
Tra le attività svolte in collaborazione con le scuole per lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza nella scelta, il progetto di autorientamento è un intervento che consente di promuovere un raccordo particolarmente qualificato con alcune scuole medie superiori.
Il progetto, infatti, è articolato in incontri svolti presso le scuole ed è finalizzato a sollecitare nelle future matricole una riflessione sui propri punti di forza e sui criteri di scelta.
La presentazione dell’offerta formativa agli studenti delle scuole superiori prevede tre eventi principali distribuiti nel corso dell’anno accademico ai quali partecipano tutti i CdS.
• Salone dello studente, si svolge presso la fiera di Roma fra ottobre e novembre e coinvolge tradizionalmente tutti gli Atenei del Lazio e molti Atenei fuori Regione, Enti pubblici e privati che si occupano di Formazione e Lavoro.
Roma Tre partecipa a questo evento con un proprio spazio espositivo, con conferenze di presentazione dell’offerta formativa dell’Ateneo e promuove i propri Dipartimenti scientifici grazie all’iniziativa Roma 1,2,3 … Scienze;
• Giornate di Vita Universitaria (GVU), si svolgono ogni anno da dicembre a marzo e sono rivolte agli studenti degli ultimi due anni della scuola secondaria superiore.
Si svolgono in tutti i Dipartimenti dell’Ateneo e costituiscono un’importante occasione per le future matricole per vivere la realtà universitaria.
Gli incontri sono strutturati in modo tale che accanto alla presentazione dei Corsi di Laurea, gli studenti possano anche fare un’esperienza diretta di vita universitaria con la partecipazione ad attività didattiche, laboratori, lezioni o seminari, alle quali partecipano anche studenti seniores che svolgono una significativa mediazione di tipo tutoriale.
Partecipano annualmente circa 5.000 studenti;
• Orientarsi a Roma Tre, rappresenta la manifestazione che chiude le annuali attività di orientamento in ingresso e si svolge in Ateneo a luglio di ogni anno.
L’evento accoglie, perlopiù, studenti romani che partecipano per mettere definitivamente a fuoco la loro scelta universitaria.
Durante la manifestazione viene presentata l’offerta formativa e sono presenti, con un proprio spazio, tutti i principali servizi di Roma Tre, le segreterie didattiche e la segreteria studenti.
I servizi online messi a disposizione dei futuri studenti universitari nel tempo sono aumentati tenendo conto dello sviluppo delle nuove opportunità di comunicazione tramite web.
Inoltre, durante tutte le manifestazioni di presentazione dell’offerta formativa, sono illustrati quei servizi online (siti web di Dipartimento, di Ateneo, Portale dello studente etc.) che possono aiutare gli studenti nella loro scelta.
Il Corso di Studio in breve
Gli obiettivi formativi del CdL in Lettere dell'Università degli Studi Roma Tre si rifanno, specificandoli, a quelli indicati dal D.M.
la classe delle lauree L-10.
I laureati del CdL in Lettere di Roma Tre dovranno acquisire:
a) una rigorosa e solida formazione di base, teorica, metodologica e storica, negli studi letterari, filologici e linguistici;
b) la conoscenza essenziale della cultura letteraria, linguistica, storico-geografica, dell'età antica e di quella medievale, moderna e contemporanea, con particolare riferimento alla situazione italiana, anche in senso comparativistico, con conoscenza diretta di testi e documenti in originale;
c) la conoscenza di almeno una delle lingue della cultura antica occidentale;
d) la capacità di comunicare in maniera chiara e articolata le proprie idee negli ambiti di competenza;
e) la capacità di usare gli strumenti informatici e della comunicazione telematica;
f) la capacità di utilizzare almeno una lingua straniera, oltre l'italiano;
g) una capacità di apprendimento adeguata per la prosecuzione degli studi nei settori specifici.
Gli sbocchi professionali previsti direttamente per i laureati nel Corso di Laurea in Lettere sono in enti pubblici e privati, nel campo dell'editoria e presso le istituzioni che organizzano attività culturali e/o iniziative didattiche, o che operano nel campo della conservazione e della fruizione dei beni culturali.
I laureati in Lettere potranno in particolare svolgere attività lavorative che richiedano specifiche conoscenze storiche, teoriche e metodologiche coerenti con il percorso curricolare seguito, con specifico riguardo alla produzione e analisi di testi.

È prevista, in relazione agli obiettivi formativi corrispondenti ai diversi curricula del Corso di Laurea, l'organizzazione, in accordo con enti pubblici e privati, di stages e tirocini idonei a concorrere al conseguimento dei crediti formativi universitari (CFU) richiesti per le altre attività formative, articolati per specifici profili professionali.
Profili professionali più specifici riguardano gli sbocchi previsti da ciascuno dei percorsi formativi del Corso di Studio qui di seguito illustrati.
Lettere moderne: Letteratura e linguistica italiana
Forma laureati esperti dei fenomeni della lingua e della letteratura italiana; insegnanti di italiano all'estero o come L2; operatori in ambiti del giornalismo, dell'editoria, della pubblica amministrazione e della conservazione bibliotecaria e museale.
Lettere moderne: Il Mondo contemporaneo
Forma laureati esperti dei fenomeni della lingua e della letteratura italiana in rapporto ai progressi tecnologici e al mondo attuale globalizzato; operatori in ambiti del giornalismo, dell'editoria, della pubblica amministrazione
Lettere antiche
Forma laureati esperti nei campi linguistici, letterari, filologici, storici e documentari legati allo studio delle tradizioni antiche, in particolare greco-latine; tali campi si esplicitano di volta in volta in attività legate alla comunicazione, alla critica letteraria, all'editoria, alla conservazione bibliotecaria e museale.
Civiltà e religioni.
Forma laureati competenti nei campi letterari, storico-religiosi, linguistici e documentari, legati allo studio delle civiltà e delle culture di ambito mediterraneo ed europeo e della loro presenza nel territorio e nella società; tali competenze trovano applicazione in attività legate alla comunicazione, alla mediazione culturale, all’editoria, alla pubblica amministrazione, alla conservazione bibliotecaria, archivistica e museale.
I laureati del Corso di Laurea in Lettere avranno la possibilità di accedere, secondo le vigenti disposizioni normative e regolamentari, a una Laurea Magistrale o a un Master di primo livello.
Le attività obbligatorie del Corso di Laurea sono finalizzate alla preparazione per l'accesso alle Lauree Magistrali nelle seguenti classi:

Le attività a libera scelta possono permettere allo studente di migliorare la propria preparazione a tali Lauree Magistrali, o di prepararsi per l'accesso a Lauree Magistrali appartenenti ad altre classi.

The student will acquire knowledge on some aspects of phonetics, morphology and historical syntax, to arrive at an easier understanding of the structures and dynamisms of the Latin language, also with a view to a better knowledge of Italian. Through the knowledge, albeit essential, of historical phonetics, the student will also acquire those notions of prosody, which constitute a necessary basis for reading prose texts and also for the study of the Latin metric.

Purpose. Students will acquire the essential skills to deal with the translation of ancient and late-antique Christian texts, belonging to various literary genres (gospels, epistles, apocalypses, apologies, eresiological texts, exegetical commentaries, homilies, church histories, hagiographies, normative books, etc.): they will be able to know and use the most important tools for lexical, morphological and syntactic analysis (specialized dictionaries and grammars) and semantic analysis of the texts (monographs and encyclopaedias that allow the historical understanding, historic-ideological and functional of a text).
Prerequisites. Knowledge of Latin and Greek (high-school level) is required.
Admission. The theoretical and practical character of the Laboratory, with active participation of each student, as well as the amount of available space and instrumentation impose a programmed number of students of bachelor’s and master’s degree. Students who wish to participate must submit an application to the teacher via e-mail (alberto.danna@uniroma3.it) by 18 February 2017, specifying the degree course and year of study. The list of those admitted will be published by February 28, 2017.

TRADUZIONE DI TESTI CRISTIANI (I-V SECOLO)
(objectives)
Purpose. Students will acquire the essential skills to deal with the translation of ancient and late-antique Christian texts, belonging to various literary genres (gospels, epistles, apocalypses, apologies, eresiological texts, exegetical commentaries, homilies, church histories, hagiographies, normative books, etc.): they will be able to know and use the most important tools for lexical, morphological and syntactic analysis (specialized dictionaries and grammars) and semantic analysis of the texts (monographs and encyclopaedias that allow the historical understanding, historic-ideological and functional of a text).
Prerequisites. Knowledge of Latin and Greek (high-school level) is required.
Admission. The theoretical and practical character of the Laboratory, with active participation of each student, as well as the amount of available space and instrumentation impose a programmed number of students of bachelor’s and master’s degree. Students who wish to participate must submit an application to the teacher via e-mail (alberto.danna@uniroma3.it) by 18 February 2017, specifying the degree course and year of study. The list of those admitted will be published by February 28, 2017.

TRADUZIONE DI TESTI CRISTIANI (I-V SECOLO)
(objectives)
Purpose. Students will acquire the essential skills to deal with the translation of ancient and late-antique Christian texts, belonging to various literary genres (gospels, epistles, apocalypses, apologies, eresiological texts, exegetical commentaries, homilies, church histories, hagiographies, normative books, etc.): they will be able to know and use the most important tools for lexical, morphological and syntactic analysis (specialized dictionaries and grammars) and semantic analysis of the texts (monographs and encyclopaedias that allow the historical understanding, historic-ideological and functional of a text).
Prerequisites. Knowledge of Latin and Greek (high-school level) is required.
Admission. The theoretical and practical character of the Laboratory, with active participation of each student, as well as the amount of available space and instrumentation impose a programmed number of students of bachelor’s and master’s degree. Students who wish to participate must submit an application to the teacher via e-mail (alberto.danna@uniroma3.it) by 18 February 2017, specifying the degree course and year of study. The list of those admitted will be published by February 28, 2017.

The workshop aims to be a preparatory aid in facilitating the study of religions, given the increasing importance they have assumed in the contemporary world. The main aim is to enable students to read the religious phenomenon in its fundamental expressions and subsequently to undertake more complex specialist studies. It is intended to provide students with the keys to reading, hermeneutic, cultural and linguistic methods and instruments, which are useful for understanding the religious fact in its present-day manifestations, in its historical developments -since Antiquity- and in its spread throughout the world.

TRADUZIONE DI TESTI CRISTIANI (I-V SECOLO)
(objectives)
Purpose. Students will acquire the essential skills to deal with the translation of ancient and late-antique Christian texts, belonging to various literary genres (gospels, epistles, apocalypses, apologies, eresiological texts, exegetical commentaries, homilies, church histories, hagiographies, normative books, etc.): they will be able to know and use the most important tools for lexical, morphological and syntactic analysis (specialized dictionaries and grammars) and semantic analysis of the texts (monographs and encyclopaedias that allow the historical understanding, historic-ideological and functional of a text).
Prerequisites. Knowledge of Latin and Greek (high-school level) is required.
Admission. The theoretical and practical character of the Laboratory, with active participation of each student, as well as the amount of available space and instrumentation impose a programmed number of students of bachelor’s and master’s degree. Students who wish to participate must submit an application to the teacher via e-mail (alberto.danna@uniroma3.it) by 18 February 2017, specifying the degree course and year of study. The list of those admitted will be published by February 28, 2017.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: acquiring basic knowledge of LIS, and the history and development of the book and libraries; main principles of communicational mediation to be implemented by a library.
Sound abilities in reading (conceived as a set of literacies: functional, multimedia, information…) are required to every citizen in order to understand the phenomena of our complex, transitional, “liquid” society, and to be able at self-orienteering and learning in such a globalised and interconnected context.
