Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione
I laureati in Archeologia acquisiscono conoscenze e competenze sia nelle nuove metodologie e tecniche dell'archeologia sia nelle tradizionali discipline storiche,
filologiche e artistiche.
I laureati dovranno quindi possedere:
avanzate competenze scientifiche, teoriche, metodologiche ed operative relative al settore dell'archeologia e della storia dell'arte nelle età preistorica e protostorica, antica e medievale, supportate da conoscenza della storia e delle fonti scritte antiche;
competenze nel settore della gestione, conservazione e restauro del patrimonio archeologico, artistico, documentario e monumentale; abilità nell'uso degli strumenti informatici e della comunicazione telematica negli ambiti specifici di competenza, con particolare riferimento alle operazioni di rilievo dei monumenti e delle aree archeologiche, classificazione dei reperti, elaborazione delle immagini, gestione informatica dei testi scientifici; capacità di usare fluentemente, in forma scritta e orale, almeno una lingua dell'Unione Europea oltre l'italiano, con riferimento anche ai lessici disciplinari.
Le conoscenze e capacità di comprensione saranno acquisite tramite lezioni frontali, esercitazioni, seminari, studio individuale, nell'ambito delle attività formative relative alle discipline archeologiche, metodologiche, filologiche, linguistiche e alle attività professionalizzanti previste.
Le capacità raggiunte saranno verificate attraverso prove orali e/o scritte anche in itinere; lo studente dovrà mostrare nella prova scritta finale di essere in grado di elaborare un testo di carattere argomentativo coeso e coerente, che dimostri un sicuro possesso delle conoscenze e delle metodologie richieste nel campo di studi prescelto
Capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione
I laureati in Archeologia sono capaci di di applicare conoscenze, competenze e abilità nel risolvere problemi connessi alla individuazione, classificazione e interpretazione dei manufatti archeologici e alle forme della loro divulgazione, basandosi sulla interazione fra i sistemi di fonti che convergono nell'analisi dei contesti culturali, affrontando laddove necessario tematiche nuove, inserite in contesti interdisciplinari.
La capacità di possedere e applicare conoscenza e comprensione si acquisterà tramite lezioni frontali, seminari e esercitazioni individuali o di gruppo, organizzati negli àmbiti dei vari settori scientifico-disciplinari e nel corso della preparazione della prova finale.
L'apprendimento sarà verificato attraverso prove da svolgersi sia in itinere sia in conclusione dei percorsi di studio.
Lo studente dovrà dimostrare un autonomo senso critico e capacità di risolvere problemi di ambito interdisciplinare attraverso la corretta applicazione delle metodologie e delle conoscenze acquisite.Autonomia di giudizio

La verifica del percorso di apprendimento dello studente avverrà attraverso verifiche in itinere, esercitazioni, prove orali e/o scritte, e soprattutto attraverso l'elaborato finale, discusso davanti ad una commissione.Requisiti di ammissione
Requisiti curriculari
Per l'ammissione al corso di Laurea Magistrale in Archeologia sono
richieste le conoscenze generali corrispondenti al possesso di una
Laurea triennale rilasciata da un'Università italiana o equipollente
in Beni culturali (L-1).
Le conoscenze richieste per l'ammissione sono accertate dal:
a) conseguimento del titolo di I livello in una delle seguenti Classi di Laurea: L-1 Classe delle lauree in Beni culturali, L-10 Classe delle lauree in Lettere, L-42 Classe delle lauree in Storia, comprensivo di 60 CFU complessivi nei settori scientifico disciplinari indicati nella tabella B (almeno 18 CFU nei SSD indicati nella tabella A).
b) conseguimento del titolo di I livello in una Classe diversa da quelle indicate al punto a), comprensivo di almeno 90 CFU complessivi nei settori indicati nella tabella B (almeno 18 CFU nei SSD indicati nella tabella A)

Per gli studenti in possesso dei requisiti curriculari è prevista la
verifica della personale preparazione, che è obbligatoria per tutti ed
è prevista con modalità che saranno definite opportunamente nel
regolamento didattico del corso di studio.
La personale preparazione deve in ogni caso comprendere il possesso o
l'acquisizione di una solida preparazione e di competenze scientifiche
e teoriche di base relative al settore dell'archeologia e delle
relative metodologie d'indagine, il possesso di una buona formazione
storica e letteraria; la capacità di utilizzare in modo adeguato i
principali strumenti informatici e della comunicazione telematica
negli ambiti specifici di competenza; capacità di utilizzare la
strumentazione di base da campo nonché la conoscenza del grado B2 in
una lingua straniera parlata nella Unione Europea oltre l'italiano,
con riferimento anche ai lessici disciplinari.
Prova finale
La Laurea Magistrale in Archeologia si consegue previo superamento di una prova finale, che consiste nella presentazione e discussione di una tesi elaborata in forma originale dallo studente sotto la guida di un relatore, nell'ambito di uno dei settori scientifico-disciplinari presenti nell'ordinamento del corso di Laurea per il quale sono previsti insegnamenti nel regolamento del corso di Laurea e nel quale lo studente ha conseguito crediti.
Per la determinazione dell'argomento della tesi, lo studente deve aver conseguito almeno 30 CFU.
Per essere ammesso alla discussione dell'elaborato per la prova finale, che porta all'acquisizione di (30) crediti, lo studente deve aver conseguito (90) crediti.
Orientamento in ingresso
Le azioni di orientamento in ingresso sono improntate alla realizzazione di processi di raccordo con la scuola media secondaria.
Si concretizzano in attività di carattere informativo sui Corsi di Studio (CdS) dell'Ateneo ma anche come impegno condiviso da scuola e università per favorire lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza da parte degli studenti nel compiere scelte coerenti con le proprie conoscenze, competenze, attitudini e interessi.
Le attività promosse si articolano in:
a) autorientamento;
b) incontri e manifestazioni informative rivolte alle future matricole;
c) sviluppo di servizi online e pubblicazione di guide sull'offerta formativa dei CdS.
Tra le attività svolte in collaborazione con le scuole per lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza nella scelta, il progetto di autorientamento è un intervento che consente di promuovere un raccordo particolarmente qualificato con alcune scuole medie superiori.
Il progetto, infatti, è articolato in incontri svolti presso le scuole ed è finalizzato a sollecitare nelle future matricole una riflessione sui propri punti di forza e sui criteri di scelta.
La presentazione dell'offerta formativa agli studenti delle scuole superiori prevede tre eventi principali distribuiti nel corso dell'anno accademico ai quali partecipano tutti i CdS.
• Salone dello studente, si svolge presso la fiera di Roma e coinvolge tradizionalmente tutti gli Atenei del Lazio e molti Atenei fuori Regione, Enti pubblici e privati che si occupano di Formazione e Lavoro.
Roma Tre partecipa a questo evento con un proprio spazio espositivo, con conferenze di presentazione dell'offerta formativa dell'Ateneo e promuove i propri Dipartimenti scientifici grazie all'iniziativa Youth for Future;
• Giornate di Vita Universitaria (GVU), si svolgono ogni anno da dicembre a marzo e sono rivolte agli studenti degli ultimi due anni della scuola secondaria superiore.
Si svolgono in tutti i Dipartimenti dell'Ateneo e costituiscono un'importante occasione per le future matricole per vivere la realtà universitaria.
Gli incontri sono strutturati in modo tale che accanto alla presentazione dei Corsi di Laurea e all'organizzazione di periodici incontri con i tutor, gli studenti possano anche fare un'esperienza diretta di vita universitaria con la partecipazione ad attività didattiche, laboratori, lezioni o seminari, alle quali partecipano anche studenti seniores che svolgono una significativa mediazione di tipo tutoriale.
Partecipano annualmente circa 5.000 studenti;
• Orientarsi a Roma Tre, rappresenta la manifestazione che chiude le annuali attività di orientamento in ingresso e si svolge in Ateneo a luglio di ogni anno.
L'evento accoglie, perlopiù, studenti romani che partecipano per mettere definitivamente a fuoco la loro scelta universitaria.
Durante la manifestazione viene presentata l'offerta formativa e sono presenti, con un proprio spazio, tutti i principali servizi di Roma Tre, le segreterie didattiche e la segreteria studenti.
• In maniera ancor più mirata, sono state previste manifestazioni destinate a illustrare ai laureati triennali i percorsi magistrali.
I servizi online messi a disposizione dei futuri studenti universitari nel tempo sono aumentati tenendo conto dello sviluppo delle nuove opportunità di comunicazione tramite web.
Inoltre, durante tutte le manifestazioni di presentazione dell'offerta formativa, sono illustrati quei servizi online (siti web di Dipartimento, di Ateneo, Portale dello studente etc.) che possono aiutare gli studenti nella loro scelta.
Il Corso di Studio in breve
Il corso di Laurea Magistrale in Archeologia è finalizzato alla formazione di laureati con conoscenze approfondite nei principali campi di ricerca delle discipline archeologiche relative al mondo mediterraneo ed europeo, dalla preistoria alla protostoria, dall'etruscologia all'archeologia classica e alla storia dell'arte antica, dei principi e dei metodi della tutela, della conservazione e della valorizzazione del patrimonio archeologico.
Il corso permette inoltre l'acquisizione di competenze avanzate nelle metodologie della ricerca, sia per quanto riguarda le tecniche dello scavo archeologico sia in relazione ai metodi di classificazione e analisi delle diverse fonti archeologiche e delle diverse categorie di materiali.
Infine il corso approfondisce le competenze nell'area storica e filologico-letteraria per il conseguimento di una solida formazione nelle discipline archeologiche.
E' prevista la possibilità di specializzarsi in uno degli ambiti tradizionali della ricerca archeologica: pre-protostoria, archeologia classica, topografia antica, archeologia cristiana e medievale, archeologia orientale.
Il percorso formativo è articolato in prove di esame nelle discipline caratterizzanti (tot.
54–60 CFU), finalizzate all'acquisizione di conoscenze e competenze in Discipline relative alla Archeologia e alle antichità classiche e medievali, alla Storia antica e medievale, alle Lingue e letterature antiche e medievali; all'Archeologia e all'Arte del Vicino Oriente antico; nelle discipline affini e integrative (tot.
12–18 CFU), finalizzate all'acquisizione di conoscenze specifiche; nelle discipline a scelta dello studente (tot.
12 CFU) e in idoneità da maturare in attività di laboratorio, stage e di tirocinio (tot.
6–12 CFU).
Infine 30 CFU sono riservati alla prova finale, ovvero alla tesi di ricerca concordata con il relatore che lo studente potrà elaborare in modo critico e autonomo.
Alle lezioni frontali sono affiancate esercitazioni, seminari, eventuali escursioni e visite guidate, esperienze di stage di cantiere e laboratori: scavo, documentazione e rilievo, classificazione dei materiali archeologici.
L'integrazione fra lezioni frontali, attività seminariali, di laboratorio e attività sul campo garantisce una migliore efficacia formativa e permette di raggiungere una qualificazione professionale in linea con gli standard richiesti dal mercato del lavoro.
Significativo è inoltre l'aggiornamento sul piano metodologico della ricerca archeologica, attraverso l'utilizzo di strumentazioni e tecnologie informatiche, telematiche e di telerilevamento.
La formazione dello studente si attuerà sia attraverso la frequenza dei corsi teorici e lo studio individuale, sia attraverso il confronto e il dialogo con i docenti.
L'acquisizione delle conoscenze sarà accertata mediante le prove di profitto.
Lo studente dovrà indicare al momento della consegna dei piani di studio prevista nel primo anno di corso il percorso formativo prescelto Per la scelta del percorso formativo gli studenti devono avvalersi della consulenza di un docente (tutore).
I laureati del corso di Laurea Magistrale in Archeologia avranno la possibilità di accedere ad un corso di Dottorato di ricerca, secondo le disposizioni dei regolamenti ministeriali e dei singoli Atenei, o a un Master anche di secondo livello secondo le normative dell'Ateneo che lo organizza.
Le attività obbligatorie del corso di Laurea sono finalizzate alla preparazione per l'accesso ai corsi di Dottorati di ricerca nella seguente area disciplinare: Area 10-Scienze dell'Antichità Filologiche Letterarie e Storico-Artistiche.
Lo studente espliciterà le proprie scelte al momento della presentazione,
tramite il sistema informativo di ateneo, del piano di completamento o del piano di studio individuale,
secondo quanto stabilito dal regolamento didattico del corso di studio.

(objectives)
The course aims to cover the main aspects of the historical evolution of the Latin language, from pre-literary epigraphic evidence to post-classical production. Students will reflect on the peculiarities of the various registers of the Latin language in relation to texts of different types and periods. At the end of the course, they will be able to recognise the processes of language evolution and apply the main elements of historical grammar and metrics to the analysis of texts, in order to set an original critical discourse on a Latin text, contextualising it in the historical period and defining its register of use.

With reference to the Dublin Descriptors for the second cycle, through the learning process (readings, discussions, work on a case study, research-action) students will be able to:
§ know the historical evolution of the relevance of the concept of sustainability in a global perspective, and understand its possible different declinations in different contexts of application;
§ conceiving cultural awareness as strictly interrelated with self-awareness, organizational awareness and environmental awareness;
§ understand the role of the different dimensions of cultural awareness in designing sustainable solutions for issues of communication, enhancement, policies and governance;
§ understand the strategic role of the phygital dimension for the cultural development of an organization;
§ design organizational guidelines for a sustainable digital presence, taking into account the organizational objectives, the involvement of the community, the enhancement of specific cultural issues and the importance of storytelling for the involvement of different audiences;
