Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione
L'acquisizione delle conoscenze approfondite e della capacità di comprendere metodologie e tecniche necessarie per affrontare lo studio delle lingue, delle letterature e della storia medievale, moderna e contemporanea, che amplino e approfondiscano in senso specialistico le capacità di apprendimento raggiunte durante il percorso della laurea triennale, sarà verificata attraverso prove orali e/o scritte.
In particolare lo studente dovrà mostrare, attraverso l'elaborazione della tesi di laurea magistrale, di saper condurre adeguatamente un tema di ricerca mettendo a fuoco i problemi e sviluppando idee originali.
A questo proposito saranno utili le iniziative culturali organizzate dal collegio dei docenti per avviare lo studente su percorsi di ricerca inediti e inserirlo nel dibattito scientifico.
Capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione
L'acquisizione di solide conoscenze storiche e critiche di livello specialistico negli studi linguistici, filologici e letterari nell'ambito dell'italianistica, avverrà attraverso lo studio di pubblicazioni concernenti i più avanzati strumenti metodologici.
Le conoscenze e capacità di comprensione saranno acquisite tramite lezioni frontali, esercitazioni, seminari, studio individuale nell'ambito delle attività formative afferenti ai settori scientifico disciplinari di riferimento alla letteratura e lingua italiana, alle discipline, alle discipline filologiche, integrate da attività formative letterarie, linguistiche, metodologiche e artistiche e filosofiche e attraverso un orientamento di studi in senso comparativistico moderno.
Autonomia di giudizio
L'autonomia di giudizio sarà acquisita per mezzo di lezioni tenute in forma seminariale negli ambiti delle attività formative attivate nei SSD relativi alle attività formative caratterizzanti – ambiti: Lingua e Letteratura italiana, Lingue e Letterature moderne
Discipline storiche, filosofiche, antropologiche e sociologiche e Discipline linguistiche, filologiche e metodologiche.
Le attività suddette dovranno consentire una corretta interpretazione critica dei testi e delle fonti documentarie, attraverso la quale lo studente sarà in grado di orientarsi correttamente, collegare fra loro i vari ambiti dei saperi letterari linguistici e filologici e valutare autonomamente i documenti oggetto degli studi.
Egli sarà inoltre in grado di elaborare una riflessione critica sul ruolo che ciascuna disciplina occupa nella società odierna, sulla sua storia ed evoluzione anche in rapporto ai mutamenti storico culturali e metodologici.
La verifica del percorso di apprendimento dello studente avverrà attraverso attività seminariali, prove orali e/o scritte, e soprattutto attraverso l'elaborazione e la discussione della tesi di laurea.
Abilità comunicative
Le abilità comunicative saranno conseguite in forma differenziata nell'ambito di tutte le attività formative previste dal corso di laurea, in particolare in quelle attivate nei SSD previsti nelle attività formative caratterizzanti, negli ambiti disciplinari Lingua e Letteratura italiana e Discipline linguistiche, filologiche e metodologiche.
La loro acquisizione sarà sottoposta a verifica periodica nel corso di appositi incontri seminariali, tramite elaborati e prove in itinere.
oltre che attraverso il controllo delle varie fasi di redazione della tesi di laurea in cui lo studente dovrà presentare in modo chiaro e efficace dal punto di vista comunicativo i risultati della ricerca autonoma e originale.
Capacità di apprendimento
L' acquisizione della capacità di apprendimento avverrà tramite il complessivo percorso di studio, con particolare riguardo allo studio individuale, alla organizzazione del tempo di studio, alla ricerca bibliografica (condotta anche con strumenti informatici), allo studio dei testi e delle fonti, alla partecipazione alle attività seminariali, all' attività di ricerca volta alla elaborazione della tesi finale.
Lo studente, una volta organizzato il suo percorso, sarà in grado di continuare lo studio autonomo negli ambiti dell'italianistica, in prospettiva di una prosecuzione dell'attività di ricerca oppure di un ampliamento e sviluppo delle proprie competenze.
La verifica dell'acquisizione della capacità di apprendimento avverrà tramite l'analisi della carriera del singolo studente, in relazione al risultato delle prove d'esame e, in particolare, alla valutazione della capacità di apprendimento autonomo maturata durante l'elaborazione della tesi di laurea.
Requisiti di ammissione
Per l'ammissione al Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Italianistica sono
richieste le conoscenze generali corrispondenti al possesso di una
Laurea in Lettere (L-10).
Ai fini dell'ammissione, si valuteranno il
raggiungimento di un certo numero di CFU nei SSD dell'italianistica
(cfr.
punti a e b).
Le conoscenze richieste per l'ammissione sono accertate dal:
a) conseguimento del titolo di primo livello nella Classe delle Lauree
in Lettere (L-10).
La laurea deve essere comprensiva di 60 crediti complessivi nei SSD
indicati nella tabella A:
b) conseguimento del titolo di primo livello in una classe diversa da
quella di Lettere (L-10) comprensivo di almeno 90 CFU nei settori
indicati nella tabella B:

Per gli studenti in possesso dei requisiti curriculari è prevista la
verifica della personale preparazione, che è obbligatoria per tutti ed
è prevista con modalità che saranno definite opportunamente nel
regolamento didattico del corso di studio.
La personale preparazione deve in ogni caso comprendere il possesso o
l'acquisizione di una solida preparazione personale negli ambiti
linguistici, letterari, filologici e storici; come pure un buon
livello di conoscenza di almeno una lingua straniera dell'Unione
Europea (livello B-2 in una forma fluente scritta e orale), e degli
strumenti informatici.Prova finale
1.La Laurea Magistrale in Italianistica si consegue previo superamento di una prova finale, che consiste nella presentazione e discussione di una tesi scritta, elaborata in forma originale dallo studente sotto la guida di un relatore, nell'ambito di uno dei settori scientifico-disciplinari linguistici, letterari e filologici, presenti nell'Ordinamento del corso di Laurea Magistrale, per il quale siano previsti insegnamenti nel Regolamento del Corso di Laurea magistrale, nel quale lo studente abbia conseguito almeno 6 CFU.
2.
Per la determinazione dell'argomento della tesi, lo studente del Corso di Laurea magistrale deve aver conseguito almeno 30 CFU.
Le modalità per la determinazione della tesi e per la preparazione, nonché per la scelta del relatore, sono fissate nel Regolamento del Corso di Laurea Magistrale, deliberato dal Consiglio di Dipartimento.
3.
Per essere ammesso alla discussione della tesi elaborata per la prova finale, che porta all'acquisizione di 30 CFU, lo studente deve aver conseguito 90 CFU.
Le modalità dello svolgimento della prova finale sono fissate nel Regolamento del Corso di Laurea Magistrale, deliberato dal Consiglio di Dipartimento.
Orientamento in ingresso
Le azioni di orientamento in ingresso sono improntate alla realizzazione di processi di raccordo con la scuola media secondaria e pensate con lo scopo di illustrare con chiarezza la Laurea Triennale e le diverse Lauree magistrali, tra le quali la LM-14.
Si concretizzano in attività di carattere informativo sui Corsi di Studio (CdS) dell'Ateneo ma anche come impegno condiviso da scuola e università per favorire lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza da parte degli studenti nel compiere scelte coerenti con le proprie conoscenze, competenze, attitudini e interessi.
Le attività promosse si articolano in:
a) autorientamento;
b) incontri e manifestazioni informative rivolte alle future matricole;
c) sviluppo di servizi online e pubblicazione di guide sull'offerta formativa dei CdS.
Tra le attività svolte in collaborazione con le scuole per lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza nella scelta, il progetto di autorientamento un intervento che consente di promuovere un raccordo particolarmente qualificato con alcune scuole medie.
In maniera ancor più mirata, sono state previste manifestazioni destinate a illustrare ai laureati triennali i percorsi magistrali, inclusa la LM-14, come l’incontro a distanza tenutosi il 12 maggio 2021, dalle ore 15,00 alle ore 18,00: “Presentazione delle Lauree Magistrali del Dipartimento di Studi Umanistici”, evento coordinato dal prof.

Il corso di Laurea Magistrale in Italianistica si prefigge i seguenti obiettivi formativi, espressi in termini di risultati attesi:
a) l'acquisizione di approfondite conoscenze e di elevata capacità di comprensione critica nel campo della Letteratura, della Linguistica e della Filologia italiana, discipline intese sia in senso cronologico sia in senso metodologico, tali da consentire l'elaborazione e/o sviluppo di idee originali e innovative, in un contesto anche di ricerca;
b) l'acquisizione di avanzate competenze nel campo delle metodologie proprie delle scienze linguistiche, letterarie e filologiche, oltreché delle specifiche tecniche di ricerca richieste per il reperimento e l'uso critico delle fonti letterarie e della comparazione con analoghe letterature straniere medievali, moderne e contemporanee;
c) l'acquisizione di un'approfondita conoscenza linguistica critica e metodologica fondata sulla lettura e sull'analisi dei testi,specie letterari, sia scritti nei volgari italiani che pertinenti alla lingua letteraria italiana, alla circolazione dei testi, alla fortuna degli autori e delle loro opere in età medievale, moderna e contemporanea, nonché all'interno delle tradizioni letterarie di paesi stranieri;
d) l'acquisizione, in riferimento ai precedenti punti, di abilità nell'affrontare tematiche e risolvere problemi nuovi e non familiari, inseriti in contesti più ampi o interdisciplinari connessi ai settori di scientifico disciplinari di pertinenza dell'italianistica (S.S.D.
L-FIL-LET/10, L-FIL-LET/11, L-FIL-LET/12, L-FIL-LET/13 e L-FIL-LET/14);
e) l'acquisizione, in riferimento ai precedenti punti, della capacità di integrare le conoscenze e gestirne la complessità, nonché di elaborare osservazioni e formulare valutazioni e giudizi sulla base di informazioni parziali e frammentate, nel contesto di una matura consapevolezza delle responsabilità sociali ed etiche collegate all'applicazione di tali conoscenze e giudizi;
f) il consolidamento della capacità di utilizzare criticamente i principali strumenti informatici e telematici disponibili nel campo dello studio dell'italianistica e delle scienze ad essa correlate.
g) il consolidamento della capacità di utilizzare fluentemente, in forma scritta e orale, almeno una lingua dell'Unione europea oltre l'italiano.
h) l'acquisizione, con particolare riguardo ai precedenti punti, di capacità di apprendimento che consentano, dopo il conseguimento della Laurea Magistrale, di proseguire in modo anche autonomo lo studio nei campi individuati;.
i) l'acquisizione di abilità comunicative finalizzate alla trasmissione chiara e razionale, a interlocutori specialisti e non specialisti, delle conclusioni raggiunte, in termini di conoscenze, di metodo e di implicazioni.
Gli sbocchi professionali previsti per i laureati del Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Italianistica sono in istituzioni specifiche, quali archivi di Stato, biblioteche, sovrintendenze, in centri culturali, fondazioni, aziende editoriali, con funzioni di elevata responsabilità; in organismi e unità di studio presso enti e istituzioni, pubbliche e private, sia italiane che straniere.
I laureati del Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Italianistica potranno anche esercitare funzioni di elevata responsabilità nei settori degli istituti di cultura e di ricerca di tipo specifico; in centri di studi e di ricerca, pubblici e privati; in istituzioni centrali e locali nell'articolato settore dei servizi culturali; nell'editoria scientifica e in quella connessa alla diffusione dell'informazione e della cultura letteraria e linguistica, anche a livello internazionale, pertinente l'italianistica.
Il Corso di Laurea Magistrale Italianistica stante la sua costituzione di tipo letterario, linguistico e filologico consente una formazione adatta a tutte le attività collegate alla trasmissione a livelli alti del sapere umanistico; in particolare è in grado di fornire le competenze disciplinari richieste per la professione di docente.
I laureati possono prevedere come occupazione l'insegnamento nella scuola primaria di primo e secondo grado, una volta completato il processo di abilitazione all'insegnamento e superati i concorsi previsti dalla normativa vigente.
Gli sbocchi occupazionali e le attività professionali sopra definiti sono compatibili con l'accesso alle attività classificate dall'ISTAT sotto il codice M.80 (Istruzione), in particolare M.80.21.1 (Istruzione secondaria di primo grado: scuole medie), M.80.21.2 (Istruzione secondaria di secondo grado: licei e istituzioni che rilascino diplomi di maturità), M.80.3 (Istruzione universitaria e post-universitaria), M.80.4 (Corsi di formazione e perfezionamento e altre attività di insegnamento), nonché sotto il codice O.92 (Attività ricreative, culturali e sportive), presso enti pubblici e privati.
Le attività a libera scelta dello studente possono permettere di migliorare la sua preparazione per le prove di accesso al dottorato di ricerca.
Lo studente espliciterà le proprie scelte al momento della presentazione,
tramite il sistema informativo di ateneo, del piano di completamento o del piano di studio individuale,

English as an international language: methodological and didactic issues

Graduates in Languages and Literatures for Teaching and Translation obtain advanced knowledge and understanding in all the subject areas of their training in order to 1) consolidate and develop their competence in European and American Studies, with particular attention to their literature of specialisation; 2) deepen their knowledge of the two foreign languages chosen, achieving a heightened competence in the language of specialization and an advancement in the second language; 3) reach enhanced awareness of the linguistic features of their language of specialisation, both from a diachronic and a synchronic perspective; 4) reach an adequate knowledge of the most advanced methodologies for the analysis of literary texts; 5) handle confidently the theoretical-practical tools for teaching and for translation.
English as an International Language: Methodological and Didactic Issues is one of the characterising modules of the programme. The course provides basic knowledge about the phenomena that have allowed the emergence of variant forms of English among native speakers, among the populations of the former British colonies, and finally among other international communities of speakers. The student is expected to develop a deeper awareness of the multifaceted nature of English as an international language, while using this language as a tool for work and metalinguistic reflection. Specific methodological skills related to the pedagogical implications of Global Englishes in the field of English language teaching will also be provided, including a critical reflection on the role of the teacher, the purpose of activity design, and different learning styles. At the end of the module students will be able to: develop lesson plans for the teaching of English in an international context; communicate in written and oral form at an advanced level, including the acquisition of socio-cultural competence.

Paradigmes et frontières du texte/ Paradigms and text boundaries is one of the characterising modules of the programme. Its aim is to foster communicative and argumentative skills in French at an advanced level in written and oral production. This will be achieved through the analysis of a wide range of literary and specialised texts. The module also introduces learners to the translation and translation analysis of the texts and specialised languages taken into consideration, with a focus on the socio-anthropological, interlinguistic and intercultural aspects related to different text typologies. At the end of the module students will be able to: critically and autonomously analyse texts; start a metalinguistic reflection; apply the linguistic, communicative and writing skills in specific work contexts (e.g. editing/translating articles, reviews, essays, brochures, etc.); communicate specific notions at an advanced level.

The teaching of Didactics of modern languages falls within the scope of the basic training activities of "Philology and general and applied linguistics" of the degree course in Languages and Linguistic-Cultural Mediation, specifically the activities aimed at providing basic training in the methods and in the tools of analysis and reflection proper to language teaching. The course aims to provide: Knowledge of the phenomena that characterize the language acquisition process (first, second and foreign), with particular attention to the linguistic aspects relating to the acquisition sequences and the development of the ability to use: variability, systematicity and internal and external factors to the individual that affect the acquisition process. Knowledge of the characteristics of the interaction between native and non-native speakers, and its effects on L2 acquisition: input modifications and negotiation, role of output and feedback. Knowledge of the development process of the competence to use a foreign language, with attention to the role of the context, of the input, as well as of the learning strategies involved. Knowledge of language skills development processes, through examples relating to the various languages taught at the Department and in Italian schools, including Italian for foreigners. Development of metalinguistic reflection, in a transversal way, giving particular emphasis to the comparison between languages and the enhancement of the linguistic repertoire of the learners. Knowledge of the role of teaching in language learning, with particular reference to the main teaching methodologies developed in research, to optimize and enhance learning processes, including through the use of new digital technologies. Expected learning outcomes: students will know the research on spontaneous and guided learning of foreign languages and aspects related to the order of acquisition; will be able to carry out metalinguistic reflections; they will be aware of their own linguistic repertoire and will be able to use the comparison between languages to optimize their learning; will know the processes of learning and using the foreign language, the role of the context and of learning strategies; they will know the processes of listening, speaking, reading and writing of foreign languages and Italian L2; they will know the main methodologies and technologies for teaching.

The course provides advanced skills for reading and critical interpretation of crucial issues in the political and cultural history of modern Europe, also read in terms of symbolic production. The teaching of Didactics of modern languages falls within the scope of the basic training activities of "Philology and general and applied linguistics" of the degree course in Languages and Linguistic-Cultural Mediation, specifically the activities aimed at providing basic training in the methods and in the tools of analysis and reflection proper to language teaching. The course aims to provide: Knowledge of the phenomena that characterize the language acquisition process (first, second and foreign), with particular attention to the linguistic aspects relating to the acquisition sequences and the development of the ability to use: variability, systematicity and internal and external factors to the individual that affect the acquisition process. Knowledge of the characteristics of the interaction between native and non-native speakers, and its effects on L2 acquisition: input modifications and negotiation, role of output and feedback. Knowledge of the development process of the competence to use a foreign language, with attention to the role of the context, of the input, as well as of the learning strategies involved. Knowledge of language skills development processes, through examples relating to the various languages taught at the Department and in Italian schools, including Italian for foreigners. Development of metalinguistic reflection, in a transversal way, giving particular emphasis to the comparison between languages and the enhancement of the linguistic repertoire of the learners. Knowledge of the role of teaching in language learning, with particular reference to the main teaching methodologies developed in research, to optimize and enhance learning processes, including through the use of new digital technologies. Expected learning outcomes: students will know the research on spontaneous and guided learning of foreign languages and aspects related to the order of acquisition; will be able to carry out metalinguistic reflections; they will be aware of their own linguistic repertoire and will be able to use the comparison between languages to optimize their learning; will know the processes of learning and using the foreign language, the role of the context and of learning strategies; they will know the processes of listening, speaking, reading and writing of foreign languages and Italian L2; they will know the main methodologies and technologies for teaching.
