21001948 - MATERIALS AND BUILDING CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS (objectives) Students critically investigate the most appropriate use of building materials, starting from the systematic knowledge of their chemical and physical features. Students also investigate how to transform them into semi-finished components or structural systems. The uses of materials will be assessed against economic convenience, the architectural forms, space requisites, and environmental qualities.
