21801875 - JURIDICAL COMPARISON AND STANDARDISATION OF LAW (objectives) The course is aimed at providing the students with more-in depth knowledge on legal comparison and uniform law, including the process of legal harmonisation in the frame of the European integration process and at global level. The course examines, in the first part, the theoretical and methodological issues concerning the uniformation/harmonisation process, focusing on the formation of European law, with regard in particular to European citizenship and the protection of fundamental rights as elements suitable to shape a process of ‘integration through rights’ as a basis also for European identity. 21801894 - FINANCIAL MARKET ECONOMICS (objectives) This course is designed to introduce students to economic principles of asset pricing. The first part of the class is an introduction to security markets and provides the definition of key concepts, among them the notions of risk and return. The standard asset pricing models are presented both theoretically and empirically. The second part of the class presents the implications of basic macroeconomic models for asset pricing.
