I laureati dovranno avere una solida e rigorosa conoscenza delle discipline aziendali, economiche, giuridiche e matematico-statistiche sia per quanto attiene i contenuti di base sia per quelli più specifici dei singoli percorsi scelti che forniscono competenze nei diversi ambiti dei settori produttivi;
In particolare gli insegnamenti del primo anno e di parte del secondo forniscono le conoscenze di base necessarie a comprendere i diversi ' linguaggi' connessi al mondo dell'impresa , conoscenze che poi verranno affinate anche per quanto attiene i contenuti specifici dei 4 percorsi in cui è articolato il CdS.

Dovranno inoltre essere analizzare e comprendere le situazioni reali da diverse prospettive disciplinari, per affrontarle e gestirle al meglio
L'utilizzo flessibile delle conoscenze è infatti tipico di contesti fortemente mutevoli, quali quelli che caratterizzano la gestione d'impresa.
Per raggiungere questo obiettivo gli insegnamenti del corso di laurea combinano opportunamente i metodi e gli strumenti dei diversi linguaggi (in particolare quelli economico-aziendali, giuridici e matematico-statistici), applicandoli a scenari, situazioni problematiche e contesti decisionali differenziati, attraverso un esteso ricorso a metodi didattici attivi.
Ciò viene realizzato integrando la didattica tradizionale dei singoli insegnamenti, con forme di didattica innovative quali: esercitazioni pratiche; project work; discussione di casi di studio presentati in aula anche da soggetti provenienti dal mondo del lavoro.Autonomia di giudizio
Il laureati dovranno avere capacità di esprimere autonomamente valutazioni argomentate in sede di analisi di un fenomeno o di un problema aziendale e di suggerire decisioni per gestirlo e/o risolverlo, anche in relazione alla complessità del contesto economico e sociale.
Per raggiungere questo obiettivo si è cercato di sviluppare una conoscenza ampia, articolata e critica dei concetti e degli strumenti trattati.
Questo a due livelli.
A livello di struttura del corso di studio, pur tenendo conto della centralità dell'ambito aziendale (in considerazione degli obiettivi formativi della classe e del corso di laurea), si è fornito un mix ragionevolmente equilibrato anche degli altri 3 ambiti scientifico-disciplinari previsti dalla classe, in modo da favorire nello studente una visione interdisciplinare del tema/problema trattato e da sensibilizzarlo alla necessità e utilità di utilizzare linguaggi e strumenti diversi per analizzarlo/valutarlo, adattando l'argomentazione alla particolare prospettiva assunta.
A livello di singolo insegnamento, si fornisce sui singoli temi trattati un quadro sistematico e multilaterale dei diversi approcci di analisi, nonché la duplice prospettiva, teorica ed empirica, di analisi.Abilità comunicative
Il laureati dovranno avere capacità di comunicare valutazioni/argomentazioni/decisioni in con linguaggio scientifico-professionale in maniera chiara ed efficace.
Per raggiungere questo obiettivo si favorisce l'acquisizione nei diversi insegnamenti del linguaggio specialistico (per esempio con il riferimento anche a dati, rapporti, materiali, tratti dalla realtà) e il ricorso a forme di verifica che utilizzano sia l'esposizione orale che scritta, e e in alcuni casi attraverso il lavoro di gruppo per la realizzazione di progetti anche interdisciplinari.Capacità di apprendimento
I laureati dovranno avere capacità di apprendere e rielaborare concetti e tecniche, a livelli successivi di approfondimento, con rigore metodologico, approccio critico e selettività applicativa, in funzione sia dell'inserimento nel mondo del lavoro sia del proseguimento degli studi.
Per raggiungere questo obiettivo, gli studenti saranno guidati lungo percorsi formativi caratterizzati da un progressivo innalzamento del livello delle competenze e delle capacità analitiche e metodologiche richieste per l'acquisizione finale dei crediti formativi.
Verranno utilizzati strumenti di verifica intermedia e finale coerenti con il raggiungimento di questo obiettivo, utilizzando forme alternative e graduali di verifica dell'expertise maturata, quali prove orali, prove scritte, test multiple choice, project work individuali e di gruppo, ecc.Requisiti di ammissione
Per accedere al corso di laurea è richiesta una buona cultura generale ed una sufficiente attitudine al ragionamento logico-analitico.
Gli studenti che intendono immatricolarsi dovranno essere in possesso di un diploma di scuola secondaria superiore o di un titolo ad esso equipollente e dovranno sostenere una prova di ingresso con sole finalità di orientamento, volta a favorire l'autoverifica delle proprie attitudini di base nei confronti del corso di laurea.
Le modalità di verifica e gli obblighi formativi aggiuntivi in caso di esito non positivo della stessa saranno dettagliati nel regolamento didattico del corso di studio, al quale si rinvia.
Prova finale
Fin dall’attivazione del CdS la struttura didattica di riferimento ha scelto, nell'ambito della discrezionalità riconosciuta dalla legge, di privilegiare gli aspetti dei fondamenti formativi del corso di studio.; di conseguenza ha deciso di riservare alla prova finale il rilievo di una mirata verifica del complesso della preparazione già acquisita e pertanto di attribuire alla stessa un numero di CFU compreso tra 3 e 6.
Coerentemente con la norma, si ritiene infatti che la prova finale abbia il ruolo di importante occasione formativa individuale a completamento del percorso, ma che, proprio in tal senso, non debba tradursi nell'approfondimento più o meno pedissequo di altre conoscenze del corso di studio o del percorso formativo-professionale scelto dalla studente; ma piuttosto debba consentire di verificare, su un tematiche oggetto di studio nel percorso formativo del laureando, i risultati di apprendimento attesi attraverso il recupero, in ottica sistematica, integrata e possibilmente critica, delle conoscenze già acquisite.
La prova, pertanto, sarà organizzata in modo da verificare su un determinato argomento, che sia rilevante per il corso di laurea e/o il percorso scelto, il raggiungimento dei risultati di apprendimento attesi del corso di laurea stesso, come sono stati in precedenza esplicitati, e in particolare capacità di comprensione, capacità di applicazione a problemi/contesti differenti, capacità di rielaborazione critica e argomentazione, capacità di comunicazione scritta/orale.
Coerentemente, il punteggio finale dell'esame di laurea terrà conto, oltre che della prova finale e della media degli esami sostenuti, anche di altri aspetti quali-quantitativi del percorso formativo svolto dal laureando, che appunto completano la verifica del raggiungimento dei suddetti risultati di apprendimento attesi.Orientamento in ingresso
Le azioni di Orientamento in ingresso vengono svolte prevalentemente a livello centrale dall'ateneo, sia individualmente per i singoli CdS che globalmente per l'intera offerta formativa di tutti i CdS presenti a Roma3; esse sono improntate alla realizzazione di processi di raccordo con la scuola media secondaria.
Si concretizzano sia in attività informative e di approfondimento dei percorsi formativi dei Corsi di Studio (CdS) dell’Ateneo, sia in un impegno condiviso da scuola e università per favorire lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza da parte degli studenti nel compiere scelte coerenti con le proprie conoscenze, competenze, attitudini e interessi.
Le attività promosse si articolano in:
a) incontri e manifestazioni rivolte alle future matricole;
b) sviluppo di servizi online e pubblicazione di guide sull’offerta formativa dei CdS.
L’attività di orientamento in ingresso prevede quattro principali attività, distribuite nel corso dell’anno accademico, alle quali partecipano tutti i Dipartimenti e i CdS:
• Giornate di Vita Universitaria (GVU), si svolgono ogni anno nell’arco di circa 4 mesi e sono rivolte agli studenti degli ultimi due anni della scuola secondaria superiore.
Si svolgono in tutti i Dipartimenti dell’Ateneo e costituiscono un’importante occasione per le future matricole per vivere la realtà universitaria.
Gli incontri sono strutturati in modo tale che accanto alla presentazione dei Corsi di Laurea, gli studenti possano anche fare un’esperienza diretta di vita universitaria con la partecipazione ad attività didattiche, laboratori, lezioni o seminari, alle quali partecipano anche studenti seniores che svolgono una significativa mediazione di tipo tutoriale.
Partecipano annualmente circa 4.000 studenti;
• Autorientamento, un progetto di orientamento formativo destinato agli studenti delle IV classi e che si svolge ogni anno nell’arco di 5 mesi.
Si sviluppa in collaborazione diretta con alcune scuole medie superiori per lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza nella scelta da parte degli studenti.
Il progetto, infatti, è articolato in incontri svolti presso le scuole ed è finalizzato a sollecitare nelle future matricole una riflessione sui propri punti di forza e sui criteri di scelta.
Aspetto caratterizzante il progetto, inoltre, è la presenza degli studenti senior dei nostri Corsi di Laurea che attraverso la propria esperienza formativa possono offrire un punto di vista attuale rispetto all’organizzazione e al funzionamento del mondo accademico.
• Attività di orientamento sviluppate dai singoli Dipartimenti, mediante incontri in presenza e servizi online;
• Per Orientarsi a Roma Tre nel 2021 è stato realizzato un portale dedicato: orientamento.uniroma3.it.
Rappresenta la manifestazione che riassume le annuali attività di orientamento in ingresso e si svolge ogni anno alla fine dell’anno accademico.
L’evento accoglie, perlopiù, studenti romani che partecipano per mettere definitivamente a fuoco la loro scelta universitaria.
Durante la manifestazione viene presentata l’offerta formativa e sono presenti, con un proprio spazio, tutti i principali servizi di Roma Tre, le segreterie didattiche e la segreteria studenti.
• Orientarsi a Roma Tre nel 2022 sarà in modalità mista sia sul la pagina orientamento.uniroma3.it sia in presenza presso il nuovo Rettorato dell'Ateneo.
I servizi di orientamento online messi a disposizione dei futuri studenti universitari sono nel tempo aumentati, tenendo conto dello sviluppo delle nuove opportunità di comunicazione tramite web.
Inoltre, durante tutte le manifestazioni di presentazione dell’offerta formativa, sono illustrati quei siti web di Dipartimento, di Ateneo, Portale dello studente, etc., che possono aiutare gli studenti nella loro scelta.
Infine, l’Ateneo valuta, di volta in volta, l’opportunità di partecipare ad ulteriori occasioni di orientamento in presenza ovvero online (Salone dello studente ed altre iniziative).
Inoltre Il Dipartimento di Economia Aziendale propone in maniera autonoma altre attività di presentazione dei propri CdS; Per la laurea in Economia e Gestione Aziendale L-18 in particolare tali attività sono::
- incontri con gli studenti dei singoli Istituti superiori nel primo semestre di ogni anno prevalentemente in modalità on-line
- all'inizio di ogni anno accademico, sono previsti incontri con le nuove matricole, finalizzati a presentare il CdS e relativi percorsi e a fornire tutte le informazioni sulle procedure relative agli aspetti didattici
-sono in programma continue iniziative volte ad orientare studenti iscritti e futuri studenti al corso di Laurea
Il Corso di Studio in breve
Il Corso di Laurea in Economia e gestione aziendale (CLEGA) si propone di
preparare gli studenti sia allo svolgimento di attività professionali in
ambito economico-aziendale, sia alla continuazione degli studi nello stesso ambito.
Nel corso del triennio gli studenti acquisiscono:
• le conoscenze di base nelle materie aziendali, economiche, giuridiche e quantitative (matematiche;statistiche)
• le capacità di analisi, di interpretazione e di lettura critica dei fenomeni, dei dati con riferimento al contesto nazionale ed internazionale.

Il Corso di Laurea in Economia e gestione aziendale è articolato in quattro percorsi formativi che offrono un'ampia scelta di approfondimenti consentendo agli studenti, una volta acquisiti e le conoscenze di base, di studiare a fondo specifici aspetti relativi alla gestione d'impresa per comprendere e gestire le sfide poste-
L'obiettivo è quello di sviluppare un approccio professionale alle
diverse problematiche aziendali anche attraverso elementi di apprendimento avanzato e di orientare lo studente verso una scelta consapevole sia in funzione di un diretto inserimento nel mondo del lavoro, sia in funzione del proseguimento
degli studi.
L'offerta formativa si differenzia nei diversi percorsi a partire dal secondo anno, dopo che lo studente ha acquisito le conoscenze di base fondamentali.

Per conseguire la laurea lo studente deve maturare 180 CFU, ripartiti tra 18 insegnamenti, due prove di idoneità (lingua inglese e informatica) e prova finale.
E' attiva presso il Dipartimento una convenzione con l'Ordine dei Dottori Commercialisti e degli Esperti Contabili di Roma che consente agli studenti che frequentano l'ultimo anno del CLEGA, di svolgere un tirocinio professionale che dà diritto ad ottenere l'esonero dalla prima prova dell'esame di stato per l'accesso alla sezione B dell'Albo.
Per quanto attiene al proseguimento degli studi, la formazione acquisita consentirà l'accesso a Lauree Magistrali o Master di primo livello sulle varie tematiche proprie dell'ambito economico-aziendale o ad esso collegate.
I possibili sbocchi professionali sono:
• figure professionali e carriere manageriali nelle diverse funzioni di impresa (amministrazione e controllo, finanza, marketing, organizzazione, produzione e tecnologia etc.) e nei diversi tipi di aziende (private e pubbliche);
• attività di consulenza nelle varie aree della gestione aziendale;
• attività imprenditoriali.
Lo studente espliciterà le proprie scelte al momento della presentazione,
tramite il sistema informativo di ateneo, del piano di completamento o del piano di studio individuale,
secondo quanto stabilito dal regolamento didattico del corso di studio.

In line with the educational objectives of the Degree in Economics and Business, the teaching aims to provide students with the basic knowledge and tools useful for understanding the structure and behaviour of economic-productive systems, deepening the characteristics and purposes of the different types of companies with particular reference to profit companies. The course aims to offer students institutional elements of Public Law. Statistics is a compulsory course aimed at introducing the basic techniques for the analysis of statistical data. Coherently with the goal of the Economics and Business Administration degree the lessons provide an overview of income and asset measurement and disclosure in the financial statements. The first part is focused on the different theories framed on the income recognition. The second part studies in deep the not public companies’ financial statements in the Italian laws and practices. The third part introduces the IAS/IFRS system, applied, in Italy, to public companies. Students that will attend the course will be able: - to recognize theories inspiring the preparation and presentation of firms’ financial statements; - to apply methods for valuating companies’ assets and liabilities and for preparing income statement and balance sheet; - use the calculation and evaluation tools acquired and explain rigorously and clearly the topics studied.

In line with the educational objectives of the Degree Course in Economics and Business Management, the course promotes knowledge of the fundamental institutions of private law through a logical-scientific and methodological approach to the matter, which allows students to acquire a solid base to deepen more specific areas and related disciplines - including those to be addressed in the master’s degree courses activated in the Department - and indispensable for their cultural and professional training. It aims to provide the conceptual tools and reading keys useful to allow the understanding of the legal system in its essential components through the analysis of the rules and their concrete application. To this end, both during the course and in the study of the recommended texts, the use of an updated civil code is indispensable. At the end of the course, the student will have: - taken knowledge and become acquainted with the basic categories of private law and with the fundamentals of the methodology of legal interpretation; - acquired a notional-theoretical apparatus and an appropriate technical language; - developed a method of understanding the subject.

(objectives)
In line with the learning objectives of the Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Management (CLEGA), this course aims to provide the students with a sound basic knowledge of financial instruments, financial intermediaries, financial markets and the applying regulation. For each category of financial instrument, the course analyzes the main characteristics and trading methods. For firms operating in different sectors of financial intermediation (banking, securities, insurance), the course examine organization, strategy, and conditions for viability. Finally, the course focuses on regulation and supervision, also considering determinants and consequences of financial crises. At the end of the course, the students will have developed: • an in-depth knowledge of financial instruments, intermediaries and markets, their roles and functions; • the ability to analyse and interpret financial firms’ behaviour, also considering their regulation; • the ability to critically analyse the evolution of the financial system and its impact on the real economy.

The objectives of the Business Management course are consistent with the general objectives of the Bachelor in Business Economics (CLEGA). Specifically, the course aims to provide: - Solid basic knowledge of the organizational structure and its management; - Concrete skills necessary to support strategic and operational choices; - Abilities to analyse, interpret and critically read sectorial and environmental dynamics; - Methodological and analytical skills necessary to select and understand relevant information emerging from the business arena. According with the educational objectives of the Degree in Economia e Gestione Aziendale (CLEGA), the course aims to set the foundations of financial evaluation, to provide the basics for the markets’ formalization and for the measurement of the value and risk of financial contracts, to introduce the evaluation of traditional insurance contracts. At the end of the course students will have developed a solid and rigorous, both theoretical and practical, knowledge on the fundamentals of financial evaluation, on the evaluation of basic and derivative financial contracts (fixed and variable rate bonds and mortgages, interest rate swaps and standard financial options), on the foundations of insurance evaluation.

Market failures and related policy interventions are analysed under the lens of the globalization process. Specific attention is given to the European Union market and policies. At the end of the course students will be equipped with a comprehensive knowledge on: - main market mechanisms on which public policy is based; - theories and practical rules for policy impact evaluation and assessment of efficiency and effectiveness of policy instruments with respect to targets and costs; - mapping methods for complexity analysis on different geographical scales in order to draw the general picture and the specific features that drive choices of policy makers; - applying main efficiency and effectiveness evaluation methods for impacts of public policies on fiscal and monetary themes at different territorial scale, from the regional to the international one.

GOALS of the course The course aims to reach the following goals: - to highlight the peculiariaties of the "Organization" as a field of study and the specialized studies of "Business Organization"; - to provide some essential cognitive elements for dealing with the study of organizational literature and its evolution; - to develop and to deepen the main thematic areas which, according to the distinction adopted in the mainstream approach, refer to the teaching of Business Organization, i.e. organizational design. In particular, the following organizational design choices will be analyzed in detail: work organization, work processes (intra-organizational relationships design), business structures, information systems and organizational boundaries (inter-organizational relationships design). - frame the problems of "human resourse management " (issues that are addressed in the organizational lectures of master's or graduate’s degree courses); - offer to students the opportunity to take advantage of tools for the analysis of the reality and to improve their ability to intervene on realities, tackling the study of both texts (produced by important authors of organizational theory) and business cases that highlight organizational issues and practices adopted for their resolution. The teaching will be addressed through traditional teaching methods (frontal lessons) useful for framing the complexity of the topics covered, accompanied by exercises, team and individual work carried out by the students, company testimonies and case analysis, aimed at presenting the student with the variety of concrete practices and to stimulate reflection on the articulation of the organizational choices to be faced.

The aims of this course is to explain public sector management and accounting by an integrated approach, such as drawing together accounting theory and practice for each of the main areas (modules) of financial accounting, management accounting and audit. This course is designed to help students develop specific public sector accounting skills. Module I – Introduction: In the first section, the objective is to explain the managerial developments in the public sector, by give a brief history of these; Module II – Management accounting: In the second section the objective is to explain developments in the use of internal markets and compulsory competition and the more recent emphasis on public-private concept and the introduction of the private concept in the public sector; Module III – Financial accounting: In the third section the object is to explain updates and internationalizes the discussion of financial accounting theory and regulation. In line with the learning objectives of the degree course in Economics and Business Management, this course aims to provide a sound knowledge of the following basics: - the nature, uses and purposes of cost accounting; - the main classifications and cost configurations and their uses; - the main analytical tools related to different cost configurations, their formulas and meanings; -the analysis of profitability, cost-benefit analysis and choice between alternatives.
At the end of the course, students will be able to select and apply the main cost accounting tools to support decision-making processes. In particular: - be able to identify, in different contexts, decision-making problems or specific analytical issues (e.g. profitability analysis, choice between alternatives, etc.); - being able to identify, for each specific decisional problem or analytical issue, the most appropriate cost configuration for the analysis; - know how to apply the most appropriate analysis tools, with the relevant formulas, from time to time; - know how to solve simple problems related to choices of economic convenience. The third part introduces the IAS/IFRS system, applied, in Italy, to public companies. In line with the educational objectives of the Degree Course in Economics and Business Management, the course promotes knowledge of the fundamental institutions of financial market law, through a logical-scientific and methodological approach to the matter, which allows students to acquire a more solid and structured juridical competence, deepening more specific areas and matters, debated in a general way or simply mentioned in other fundamental disciplines activated in the Department and indispensable for their cultural and professional training. It aims to provide the conceptual tools and reading keys useful to allow the understanding of the financial market legal system in its essential components through the analysis of the rules of the Legislative Decree no. 58 of 24 February 1998, “Consolidated Law on Finance”, of its related implementation regulations and their concrete application. In line with the mission of the degree course in Economics and Business Administration (CLEGA), the course is aimed at learning concepts and methodologies with which to trace the evolution and progress of the modern company as a paradigm of the development of the various current forms of capitalism. Our analysis of business history intends to provide the tools necessary to comprehend the present phase of national and international economic development. At the end of the course, the student will be able to: - Understand the evolution of business structures and strategies in the contemporary age; - Focus on the Italian business system in a comparative perspective; - Communicate the acquired skills with clarity by using an appropriate language; - Critically interpret facts and phenomena related to the business world; - Applying analysis tools and acquired skills both to the other areas of Business studies and the professional field.

The course of "Technology of production cycles" aims to provide students with conceptual and analytical tools to identify and understand some relevant phenomena both in the business and in the economic sphere. It aims to illustrate the evolution of technology, its future scenario, its application in the business reality. To this end the interest is mainly focused on the study of the different types of production processes and on the organization of production through a careful analysis of the reference parameters and of the characteristic components such as:- technology and organization of production from the origins to reality current,- relationship between the organization of production processes and the organization of work and the company - the production processes in relation to the new needs and the strategic parameters of production, including technological, economic and environmental aspects - quality from evolution historical to current reality and quality management through the latest tools

In line with the educational objectives of the Degree Course in Economics and Business Management, the course promotes knowledge of the fundamental institutions of European Union law, through a logical-scientific and methodological approach to the matter, which allows students to acquire a solid base to deepen more specific areas and related disciplines - including those to be addressed in the master’s degree courses activated in the Department - and indispensable for their cultural and professional training. It aims to provide the conceptual tools and reading keys useful to allow the understanding of the European Union legal order, that is not a simple International organization anymore nor a federation of States, yet. To this end, both during the course and in the study of the recommended texts, the use of the treaties (TUE and TFEU) articles is indispensable. At the end of the course, the student will have: - taken knowledge and become acquainted with the basic institutions of European Union law and with the fundamentals of European and national procedures; - acquired a notional-theoretical apparatus and an appropriate technical language; - developed a method of understanding the subject.

Knowledge and understanding The purpose of this course is to provide students with a deeper understanding of markets functioning and regulation from an economic perspective in order to stimulate critical understanding of policy implications from the public side and strategic behaviour from the firms’ side. Applying knowledge and understanding Acquired knowledge and skills will enable students to understand and analyse markets functioning within the real economic context with a particular focus on non competitive markets: mainly monopolistic and oligopolistic markets. Making judgements The understanding of economic agents’ decision making processes and of non competitive markets’ functioning will enable students to critically analyse the economic reality and the policy makers intervention in terms of markets regulation (deregulation) ad antitrust. Communication skills The structure of course and final exam is designed to enable students to acquire and apply all the languages of the discipline (descriptive, graphical and analytical) in order learn how discuss appropriately microeconomic topics with specialist and non specialist speakers.

In line with the educational objectives of the Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration (CLEGA), this course aims to provide a basic understanding of the principle features of the transformational processes within international economics from the first industrial revolution to modern times, with particular attention for the Italian economy between the post-Second World War and contemporary periods. At the end of the course, students must: - possess a basic understanding of the chronology and nature of the development of European industrialized economies as well as that of their principle non-European counterparts from the end of the eighteenth century to the twentieth; - be able to describe the historical and comparative contexts of the principle contemporary economic systems; - be able to present the knowledge they have acquired using the correct terminology and concepts pertaining to the Economic history.

The course aims at providing students the most relevant instruments for a deep knowledge of functioning and effects of public policies in a closed and open economy context. Market failures and related policy interventions are analysed under the lens of the globalization process. Specific attention is given to the European Union market and policies. At the end of the course students will be equipped with a comprehensive knowledge on: - main market mechanisms on which public policy is based; - theories and practical rules for policy impact evaluation and assessment of efficiency and effectiveness of policy instruments with respect to targets and costs; - mapping methods for complexity analysis on different geographical scales in order to draw the general picture and the specific features that drive choices of policy makers; - applying main efficiency and effectiveness evaluation methods for impacts of public policies on fiscal and monetary themes at different territorial scale, from the regional to the international one.

Coherently with the goal of the Economics and Business Administration degree the lessons provide an overview of income and asset measurement and disclosure in the financial statements. The first part is focused on the different theories framed on the income recognition. The second part studies in deep the not public companies’ financial statements in the Italian laws and practices. The third part introduces the IAS/IFRS system, applied, in Italy, to public companies. Students that will attend the course will be able: - to recognize theories inspiring the preparation and presentation of firms’ financial statements; - to apply methods for valuating companies’ assets and liabilities and for preparing income statement and balance sheet; - use the calculation and evaluation tools acquired and explain rigorously and clearly the topics studied.

The course considers the concept of sustainable development, climate change and efficiency in the use of natural resources. To this aim, the main economic theoretical foundations are presented jointly with the fundamental practical issues of climate change, pollution, and sustainable development. The main market failures climate change and environmental pollution generate, externalities and public goods, are presented. The main theoretical and actual policy instruments used to face such phenomena, such as emission tax, emission abatement subsidy, marketable permit instruments, are deeply analyzed from both a normative and a positive point of view. Finally, environmental project appraisal and empirical methods for valuing the environment are introduced.

In line with the learning objectives of the Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Management (CLEGA), this course aims to provide the students with a sound basic knowledge of financial instruments, financial intermediaries, financial markets and the applying regulation. For each category of financial instrument, the course analyzes the main characteristics and trading methods. For firms operating in different sectors of financial intermediation (banking, securities, insurance), the course examine organization, strategy, and conditions for viability. Finally, the course focuses on regulation and supervision, also considering determinants and consequences of financial crises. At the end of the course, the students will have developed: • an in-depth knowledge of financial instruments, intermediaries and markets, their roles and functions; • the ability to analyse and interpret financial firms’ behaviour, also considering their regulation; • the ability to critically analyse the evolution of the financial system and its impact on the real economy.

GOALS of the course The course aims to reach the following goals: - to highlight the peculiariaties of the "Organization" as a field of study and the specialized studies of "Business Organization"; - to provide some essential cognitive elements for dealing with the study of organizational literature and its evolution; - to develop and to deepen the main thematic areas which, according to the distinction adopted in the mainstream approach, refer to the teaching of Business Organization, i.e. organizational design. In particular, the following organizational design choices will be analyzed in detail: work organization, work processes (intra-organizational relationships design), business structures, information systems and organizational boundaries (inter-organizational relationships design). - frame the problems of "human resourse management " (issues that are addressed in the organizational lectures of master's or graduate’s degree courses); - offer to students the opportunity to take advantage of tools for the analysis of the reality and to improve their ability to intervene on realities, tackling the study of both texts (produced by important authors of organizational theory) and business cases that highlight organizational issues and practices adopted for their resolution. The teaching will be addressed through traditional teaching methods (frontal lessons) useful for framing the complexity of the topics covered, accompanied by exercises, team and individual work carried out by the students, company testimonies and case analysis, aimed at presenting the student with the variety of concrete practices and to stimulate reflection on the articulation of the organizational choices to be faced.

The course explores environmental legal issues related to the prevention and repair of damage. It tends to provide the student with operational notions, in the framework of a discussion which allow him to adapt choices of entrepreneurial policy to the environmental law. Adequate space will be reserved for sources, including European ones (directives and treaty) and fundamental principles in environmental responsibility. The second part analyzes public environmental law, environmental and administrative procedures.

CERTIFICATION AND SUSTAINABILITY ASSESSMENT TOOLS.
(objectives)
The course on Certification and Sustainability Assessment Tools aims to deal, on multiple levels of analysis and comparison, with the theme of "goods", through the analysis of characterization and classification at an international, european, and national level. These topics will initially be dealt with in a general way, to then be examined in depth, also regarding the most recent interventions of the European Community on planning, management, control, coordination, and training, in three company areas (agro-food, energy and textiles). Special attention will be devoted to Sustainability Indicators (Carbon Neutrality, Water Footprint, Ecological Footprint, etc.) as fundamental elements to study "corporate sustainability" in a "circular economy" perspective. Seminars, guided tours or participation in conferences or study days will be organised during the course; some seminars may be held in English.

(objectives)
In line with the educational objectives of the Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration (CLEGA), this course aims to provide a basic understanding of the principle features of the transformational processes within international economics from the first industrial revolution to modern times, with particular attention for the Italian economy between the post-Second World War and contemporary periods. At the end of the course, students must: - possess a basic understanding of the chronology and nature of the development of European industrialized economies as well as that of their principle non-European counterparts from the end of the eighteenth century to the twentieth; - be able to describe the historical and comparative contexts of the principle contemporary economic systems; - be able to present the knowledge they have acquired using the correct terminology and concepts pertaining to the Economic history.

CONSUMER LAW: CONSUMER PROTECTION
(objectives)
In line with the tutorial objectives of the Degree Course in Economics and Business Management (CLEGA), the teaching focuses on the general guidelines of the EU and national regulatory framework aimed at protecting the rights of consumers and users. The course aims to provide the students with the skills to grasp the problems which may arise before consumers and users of public and private services, so as to correctly frame them in their essential legal elements and possibly identify the tools for their solution. It will be mainly seminarial and will be conducted through a constant examination of EU and Italian regulatory texts, as well as the analysis of the most relevant judgments pronounced by the EU Court of Justice, by the Italian Court of Cassation and by the relevant Courts. Attending students will receive special in-depth didactic material relating to the topics covered. At the end of the course, students are expected to have: - ability to examine and interpret sources, organization and regulations; - knowledge and understanding of the basic and sectoral legal rules governing the wide-ranging protection of the consumer; - ability to trace, among the rules of consumer law, those suitable for providing the solution of a concrete case; - the acquisition of a method which allows the student to orient himself/herself, within the legal system, in the search for the most suitable tools to address issues and problems not previously addressed, through the process of empowering the interpreter.

(objectives)
Knowledge and understanding The purpose of this course is to provide students with a deeper understanding of markets functioning and regulation from an economic perspective in order to stimulate critical understanding of policy implications from the public side and strategic behaviour from the firms’ side. Applying knowledge and understanding Acquired knowledge and skills will enable students to understand and analyse markets functioning within the real economic context with a particular focus on non competitive markets: mainly monopolistic and oligopolistic markets. Making judgements The understanding of economic agents’ decision making processes and of non competitive markets’ functioning will enable students to critically analyse the economic reality and the policy makers intervention in terms of markets regulation (deregulation) ad antitrust. Communication skills The structure of course and final exam is designed to enable students to acquire and apply all the languages of the discipline (descriptive, graphical and analytical) in order learn how discuss appropriately microeconomic topics with specialist and non specialist speakers.

(objectives)
The course aims at providing students the most relevant instruments for a deep knowledge of functioning and effects of public policies in a closed and open economy context. Market failures and related policy interventions are analysed under the lens of the globalization process. Specific attention is given to the European Union market and policies. At the end of the course students will be equipped with a comprehensive knowledge on: - main market mechanisms on which public policy is based; - theories and practical rules for policy impact evaluation and assessment of efficiency and effectiveness of policy instruments with respect to targets and costs; - mapping methods for complexity analysis on different geographical scales in order to draw the general picture and the specific features that drive choices of policy makers; - applying main efficiency and effectiveness evaluation methods for impacts of public policies on fiscal and monetary themes at different territorial scale, from the regional to the international one.
