Degree Course: Literatures and Intercultural Translation

Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione
Ci si attende che lo studente sia in grado di:
raggiungere un livello elevato di competenza letteraria e culturale nell'ambito delle civiltà europee e americane, con particolare attenzione a quelle di specializzazione;
approfondire la conoscenza delle due lingue straniere prescelte, con il raggiungimento di un livello elevato di competenza nella prima lingua e un perfezionamento del livello nella seconda lingua;
raggiungere un livello elevato di conoscenza delle problematiche linguistiche della lingua scelta come biennale, sapendone valutare gli sviluppi e le caratteristiche in chiave diacronica e sincronica;
raggiungere adeguate conoscenze nelle tecniche di analisi del testo letterario.
Tali competenze saranno conseguite mediante lezioni frontali, seminariali, esercitazioni e laboratori, secondo le prospettive analitiche più aggiornate, e con l'ausilio di strumenti intermediali.
La verifica delle competenze acquisite sarà effettuata mediante prove d'esame scritte e/o orali e, nel caso dell'apprendimento linguistico, attraverso il monitoraggio continuo durante le attività didattiche.
L'ulteriore approfondimento di ambiti disciplinari quali le linguistiche, la teoria e pratica della traduzione, oltre a eventuali altri settori specifici a scelta dello studente, consentiranno di fondare su solide basi le conoscenze acquisite.Capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione
Lo studente dovrà essere in grado di:
analizzare in prospettiva critica i rapporti fra letterature nazionali nell'ottica del diversificato e ampio quadro delle geografie culturali, anche in relazione all'emergere di nuove letterature e nuove identità culturali;
valutare le interrelazioni fra linguaggio letterario e linguaggi di altre forme espressive;
applicare professionalmente le competenze acquisite, sviluppandole anche attraverso stages e tirocini.
Tali abilità saranno sviluppate mediante lezioni frontali, seminariali, esercitazioni e laboratori, secondo le prospettive analitiche più aggiornate, e con l'ausilio di strumenti intermediali.
La verifica delle competenze acquisite sarà effettuata mediante prove d'esame scritte e/o orali e, nel caso dell'apprendimento linguistico, attraverso il monitoraggio continuo durante le attività didattiche.
Autonomia di giudizio
L'autonomia di giudizio sarà sviluppata attraverso una approfondita analisi culturale e linguistica, applicabile nei suoi aspetti teorici e pratici alla didattica della lingua e della letteratura, come anche alla traduzione letteraria e culturale in senso lato.
Al raggiungimento di tale obiettivo contribuirà anche la riflessione approfondita sulle letterature e culture relative alla lingua straniera di specializzazione, con particolare attenzione alle dinamiche transculturali, nonché il perfezionamento delle conoscenze comparative nel campo della lingua e letteratura italiana.
Tale capacità sarà sviluppata mediante lezioni frontali, seminariali, esercitazioni e laboratori, secondo le prospettive analitiche più aggiornate, e con l'ausilio di strumenti intermediali.
La verifica sarà effettuata mediante prove d'esame scritte e/o orali e, nel caso dell'apprendimento linguistico, attraverso il monitoraggio continuo durante le attività didattiche.
Abilità comunicative
Lo studente potrà raggiungere una competenza avanzata, scritta e orale, in almeno una delle due lingue dell'UE di specializzazione, oltre all'italiano, ed una elevata competenza in una seconda lingua straniera.
Ciò consentirà di sviluppare abilità comunicative di livello elevato, che consentano di relazionarsi con interlocutori di differenti ambienti comunicativi.
Tali competenze saranno conseguite mediante lezioni frontali, seminariali, esercitazioni e laboratori, secondo le prospettive analitiche più aggiornate, e con l'ausilio di strumenti intermediali.
La verifica delle competenze acquisite sarà effettuata mediante prove d'esame scritte e/o orali e, nel caso dell'apprendimento linguistico, attraverso il monitoraggio continuo durante le attività didattiche.
Capacità di apprendimento
Lo studente potrà acquisire capacità di individuare e utilizzare criticamente e autonomamente gli strumenti per un costante aggiornamento delle proprie competenze.
Tali capacità saranno sviluppate mediante lezioni frontali, seminariali, esercitazioni e laboratori, secondo le prospettive analitiche più aggiornate, e con l'ausilio di strumenti intermediali.
La verifica delle competenze acquisite sarà effettuata mediante prove d'esame scritte e/o orali e, nel caso dell'apprendimento linguistico, attraverso il monitoraggio continuo durante le attività didattiche.
Inoltre, dette capacità di apprendimento sviluppate nel corso del biennio di specializzazione consentiranno allo studente di sfruttare le conoscenze acquisite per il proseguimento della sua formazione scientifica, accedendo ad ulteriori livelli (Master di secondo livello, Dottorato di ricerca, ecc.), ovvero di applicare professionalmente le proprie competenze, in ambito lavorativo.
Requisiti di ammissione
Per l'ammissione al corso di Laurea Magistrale in Letterature e traduzione interculturale sono richieste le
conoscenze corrispondenti al possesso di una Laurea, la conoscenza di due lingue straniere ad un livello
adeguato, e inoltre la competenza in altre discipline che consentono di intraprendere con successo un percorso formativo secondo questo
ordinamento, come specificato nei requisiti imposti dal regolamento didattico del corso di Laurea Magistrale.
L'accertamento è compiuto secondo modalità definite dal Regolamento del corso di Laurea Magistrale.
Prova finale
La Laurea Magistrale in Letterature e Traduzione Interculturale si consegue previo superamento di una prova finale, che consiste nella presentazione e discussione di un elaborato scritto.
L'argomento dell'elaborato sarà scelto nell'ambito di un settore scientifico-disciplinare, tra quelli presenti nell'ordinamento del CdLM, per il quale siano previsti insegnamenti nel Regolamento didattico del CdLM.
Nel settore prescelto lo studente deve aver conseguito almeno 12 CFU.
Qualora lo studente progetti di svolgere la sua tesi finale in una materia alla quale è attribuito un numero di CFU inferiore a 12, potrà utilizzare i crediti a scelta libera per ottenere, o eventualmente superare, il numero minimo di crediti previsto.
Per la determinazione dell'argomento dell'elaborato per la prova finale, lo studente deve aver conseguito almeno 60 CFU.
Le modalità per la determinazione dell'argomento dell'elaborato e per la sua preparazione sono fissate nel Regolamento del CdLM secondo le linee stabilite dal Consiglio di Facoltà.
Per essere ammesso alla discussione dell'elaborato per la prova finale, che porta all'acquisizione di 30 crediti, lo studente deve aver conseguito 90 crediti.
Le modalità dello svolgimento della prova finale sono fissate secondo le linee stabilite dal Consiglio di Facoltà.
Sbocchi occupazionali e professionali previsti per i laureati
Gli sbocchi professionali previsti direttamente per i laureati nel corso di Laurea Magistrale in Letterature e
traduzione interculturale sono:
1.
funzioni di responsabilità in enti pubblici e privati, quali:
- istituti di cooperazione internazionale;
- servizi culturali di varia natura (Istituzioni culturali italiane all'estero, Istituti di ricerca, Enti ed istituzioni nazionali
e internazionali quali rappresentanze consolari e diplomatiche);
- imprese e attività commerciali nel settore delle relazioni con l'estero;
2.
giornalismo di carattere culturale, attività redazionali e/o giornalistiche, previo superamento degli esami previsti per l'accesso alla professione, nonché iscrizione all'albo; attività redazionali nel settore della divulgazione; collaborazioni e consulenze nel settore editoriale;
3.turismo culturale;
4.
intermediazione culturale in ambito europeo ed extra-europeo;
5.
consulenze linguistiche nei settori dello spettacolo, dell'editoria, del giornalismo e della comunicazione multimediale;
6.
attività di traduzione, letteraria e non, in settori pubblici e privati o free-lance;
7.
insegnamento, una volta assolti gli obblighi formativi e/o concorsuali previsti dalle leggi vigenti.
Le attività a libera scelta dello studente permettono di agevolare l'accesso a diverse tipologie di dottorato di ricerca.
Orientamento in ingresso
Le attività di orientamento, tirocinio, stage e placement, a livello di Ateneo, sono promosse e coordinate dal Gruppo di Lavoro per l’Orientamento di Ateneo (GLOA) costituito, sino ad ora, da due delegati dei Presidi per ciascuna Facoltà, dalla Responsabile della Divisione Politiche per gli Studenti e coordinato dal delegato del Rettore per le politiche di orientamento.
Il GLOA promuove azioni relative all’orientamento in ingresso, all’orientamento in itinere (tutorato, tirocini e stage) e all’orientamento in uscita (politiche attive per il lavoro e placement).
Orientamento in ingresso
Le azioni di orientamento in ingresso sono improntate alla realizzazione di processi di raccordo con la scuola secondaria di secondo grado.
Si concretizzano in attività di carattere informativo sui Corsi di Studio (CdS) dell’Ateneo ma anche come impegno condiviso da Scuola e Università per favorire lo sviluppo di una maggiore consapevolezza da parte degli studenti nel compiere scelte coerenti con le proprie conoscenze, competenze, attitudini e interessi.
Le attività promosse si articolano in:
a) seminari e attività formative realizzate in collaborazione con i docenti della scuola;
b) incontri e manifestazioni informative rivolte alle future matricole;
c) sviluppo di servizi on line per l’orientamento e l’auto-orientamento.
Tra le attività svolte in collaborazione con le scuole, il “progetto di auto-orientamento” costituisce un notevole impegno finalizzato a promuovere un raccordo particolarmente qualificato con alcune scuole superiori che costituiscono il principale “bacino di utenza” di Roma Tre.
Il progetto è articolato in incontri svolti presso le scuole dagli esperti dell’Ufficio Orientamento con la collaborazione di studenti seniores ed è finalizzato a sollecitare nelle future matricole una riflessione sui propri punti di forza e sui criteri di scelta (gli incontri si svolgono nel periodo ottobre-febbraio).
La presentazione dell’offerta formativa agli studenti delle scuole superiori prevede tre eventi principali, ai quali partecipano tutti i CdS, distribuiti nel corso dell’anno accademico.
• Salone dello studente “Campus orienta”, si svolge presso la fiera di Roma nel periodo ottobre/novembre, coinvolge tradizionalmente tutti gli Atenei del Lazio e molti Atenei fuori Regione, Enti pubblici e privati che si occupano di Formazione e Lavoro.
Roma Tre partecipa a questo evento con un proprio spazio espositivo e con conferenze di presentazione dell’offerta formativa dell’Ateneo.
• Le Giornate di Vita Universitaria (GVU) si svolgono nel periodo gennaio/febbraio e sono rivolte agli studenti degli ultimi due anni della scuola secondaria superiore.
Partecipano annualmente oltre 6.000 studenti delle secondarie.
Si svolgono in tutte le Facoltà dell’Ateneo e costituiscono una importante occasione delle future matricole per vivere la realtà universitaria.
Durante gli incontri, oltre alla presentazione dei CdS, si sollecita l’esperienza diretta degli studenti alla vita universitaria con la partecipazione ad attività didattiche, laboratori, lezioni o seminari, alle quali partecipano anche studenti seniores che svolgono una mediazione di tipo tutoriale.
• Orientarsi a Roma Tre rappresenta la manifestazione che chiude le annuali attività di orientamento in ingresso e si svolge in Ateneo a luglio di ogni anno.
L’evento accoglie mediamente circa 3.000 studenti romani e non, che partecipano per mettere definitivamente a fuoco la loro scelta universitaria.
Oltre all’offerta formativa sono presentati tutti i principali servizi di Roma Tre rivolti agli studenti e le segreterie didattiche sono a disposizione per tutte le informazioni relative alle pratiche di immatricolazione.
In tutte le manifestazioni di presentazione dell’offerta formativa, sono illustrati anche i vari servizi on line che possono aiutare gli studenti nella scelta: dai siti web delle Facoltà al sito del POS (Prove di Orientamento Simulate) che consente alle future matricole di autovalutarsi rispetto ai requisiti di accesso per tutti i CdS di Roma Tre.
In tutte le manifestazioni che si svolgono in Ateneo sono somministrati ai partecipanti questionari di soddisfazione che vengono elaborati ed utilizzati per proporre miglioramenti all’organizzazione degli eventi.

The students will gain advanced skills in translation theory applied to cross-cultural dimensions of German-speaking countries that provide a foundation for advanced translation skills from German into Italian. By translating a range of different text genres, they will refine their ability to analyze and create texts of significant complexity and to reflect on their linguistic and cultural implications.
