With the study of Italian Literature and Italian Literature Education the student will be able to achieve the following objectives. In terms of knowledge and understanding: define and knowing the epistemological and methodological field of discipline. In terms of application of knowledge and understanding: analyze the best educational practices of the school with respect to literature education. In terms of autonomy of judgement: connect the Italian literature to educational situations. In terms of communication skills: use the strategies of human interaction in the classroom and outside the classroom. In terms of learning skills: exercise the availability of scientific research in school settings.
With the study of Italian literature and teaching of Italian literature the student will be able to achieve the following objectives. In terms of knowledge and understanding: -define and identify the epistemological and methodological field of the discipline, through in-depth analysis of the current literature and literary terms and through the analysis of the relationship between classical and contemporary literature Italian, European and international level; -the acquisition of basic knowledge on Italian literature and the main literary currents in national, European, international context. In terms of application of knowledge and understanding: -identify methodological lines and good practices for the introduction of reading and literature in pre-primary and in primary school; -use operational techniques suitable to stimulate curiosity and interest in the students, such as reading aloud and use of supporting technologies like Lim. In terms of autonomy of judgement: -connect the knowledge and skills acquired to individual characteristics of each student and a careful analysis of the environment in which they operate. In terms of communication skills: -acquire capacity for coordination with colleagues in the course of reading promotion activities in perspective of organizing similar activities with colleagues in the boarding school; -knowing how to make targeted choices about classical and contemporary readings with a view to sharing with school colleagues of parallel classes. In terms of learning skills: -know how to use the knowledge acquired to turn them into literary pedagogical skills and technical skills in order to make them operational in the realization of educational programs aimed at learning topics that, starting from the literature, to be able to expand interdisciplinary.
