| IGNEOUS AND METAMORPHIC PETROLOGY, OPTICAL PETROLOGY AND FIELD
(objectives)
Acquisition of a comprehensive knowledge of the behaviour and properties of igneous and metamorphic rocks and a technical skills base of optical petrography to describe and classify igneous and metamorphic rocks. During the field excursions students will learn to understand the different aspects of magmatic and metamorphic processes.
