To let the student understand the characteristics of the healthcare sector and its specificities compared to other productive sectors, including funding mechanisms, regulations, and corresponding organizational models. Enabling the student to learn techniques of economic and financial planning and control applied to healthcare organizations, as well as aspects related to the definition of procurement processes for goods and services.
