An analysis of the main environmental factors that shape human experience is provided, such as risk perception, environmental stressors, the role of natural and built environments, and the quality of life in urban environments. The course also explores the psychological determinants of pro-environmental behavior, with particular attention to values, social norms, motivational processes, and habits, presenting the main theoretical models in the field. Finally, it analyzes intervention strategies aimed at promoting sustainable behaviors, including informational approaches, incentives, persuasive technologies, and environmental policies, with a focus on global challenges and future perspectives of the discipline.
