METAMATERIALS AND METASURFACES FOR WAVE ENGINEERING

The goal of this course is to provide a solid understanding of the electromagnetic behavior of artificial materials, metamaterials, and metasurfaces. Additionally, the course equips students with the necessary skills to comprehend and design innovative high-tech devices based on the anomalous interaction between electromagnetic waves and metastructures. Finally, the course provides the skills required to verify the proper functioning of metastructures through advanced numerical simulations.
