The course aims to provide the necessary instruments for analyzing and designing biometric systems. In addition, multisensory information derived from different sensory organs will be exploited in the biometric framework. Unimodal and multimodal systems will be addressed. It comprehensively addresses the principles of including the needed security and privacy requirements in the system's project. New notions learned during the course will be brought to fruition by realizing a functioning biometric system during the lab activity.
