ANTENNAS AND WIRELESS PROPAGATION
(objectives)
The course is designed in order to approach the study of antennas on the basis of the typical knowledge acquired in the Laurea degree courses. In particular the study and design of aperture antennas, planar antennas and antenna alignments is accomplished. It also introduces the problem of electromagnetic scattering both from structures present in the environment and from scatterers present in the ground. Finally, it is proposed to address the study of the propagation of radio waves and microwaves in the Earth's atmosphere. Areas of application: biomedical, electrical, electronic and telecommunications industries.
