The course aims to introduce students to the basic concepts of sociology and the main sociological theories as tools for a critical analysis of social reality. A specific attention will be paid to the phenomenon of poverty,marginalization and social exclusion in contemporary societies.
-To provide students with knowledge and conceptual tools useful to analyze contemporary social change.
