MAGNO LUIGI
(syllabus)
The course aims to provide an exploration of the poetic work of Francis Ponge, a central figure in 20th-century French poetry. Starting from the reading of some of his most significant collections, the course will focus on the specificity of Ponge’s project: a poetry of "things" that combines linguistic rigor, attention to the world, and cognitive tension. The critical apparatus will allow for situating the author within the context of modern poetry and engaging with some of the most recent interpretative readings of his work.
