The course explores women’s literary production in Taiwan from the post-war period to the present, through the analysis of texts in Chinese and in translation, with particular attention to issues of gender, identity, and memory. Students will acquire critical tools to read and interpret Taiwanese women’s writing from the historical and cultural perspectives
