Process management in healthcare-Thermal engineering systems in hospitals
(objectives)
In the framework of health services organization, the course is aimed at providing qualitative knowledge and quantitative tools for the operations management of health services processes, including processes analysis and design, materials management, performance estimation, quality assessment and economic evaluation.
Provide students with the tools to understand and quantify the main heat transfer phenomena. Allow the student to carry out the thermophysical analysis of simple structures, with particular attention to the aspects of thermal comfort. Sizing of the main thermotechnical systems with particular attention to technologies for hospital use (operating theatres, controlled environments)
