This course explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and writing in educational contexts, providing both theoretical foundations and practical skills. Students will critically analyze the role of AI as a writing support tool, understand the workings of assistive writing systems, and develop skills in the informed use of these technologies for educational purposes. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Understand the fundamentals of AI literacy and its relevance in educational contexts - Critically analyze the ethical implications of the use of AI in writing - Identify and evaluate biases and limitations of algorithms in writing-assisted systems - Effectively use AI tools for different types of educational writing - Design educational interventions that integrate AI as a support for writing - Develop a critical view of the impact of AI on writing learning
