Introduce concepts on the cell organization necessary to understand the structure and function of tissues and organs. Provide the basic knowledge on the structure and functions of main tissues, with special reference to the nervous tissue. Basic knowledge of human anatomy, with special reference to the structure of the eye and of the visual apparatus.
