The workshop aims to provide basic knowledge of the research, acquisition, production, archiving, processing and use of photographic images for cultural heritage.

The course is divided into three interconnected components:
· introductory class lectures;
· class lectures and hands-on exercises on the digital processing of photographic images, with hints on graphic design for publishing;
· class seminars held by professionals and scholars with specific experience in the study, conservation and valorization of cultural heritage.

Required readings will be assigned each week.
