(syllabus)
The course is divided into three parts:
1) Overview of the Italian legal system, constitutional protection of rights and freedoms, and public administration;
2) In-depth study of the Italian authorities, with particular reference to the Competition Authority, the Authority for Communications, the Data Protection Authority, and the National Anti-Corruption Authority;
3) In-depth study of legislation on protection of the right to privacy and protection of personal data, with particular reference to the role exercised by the Data Protection Authority.
