(syllabus)
The course will develop in two parts. In the first the main characteristics of different types of academic texts will be examined and the main scientific writing techniques will be discussed. In the second part, we will proceed in a laboratory manner to the construction of a scientific essay that has a clear and effective structure and argumentation. Its practical norms (syntax, punctuation, style) will also be discussed. At the end of the course, the students will be able to plan and write a scientific essay structured according to the rules shared by the scientific community.
