Quarries, Mining plants and environmental recovery
(objectives)
Quarries, Mining Plants and Environmental Recovery is a monographic course on mining activities. Aim of the course is to make students acquire knowledge regarding the production process of the mining activity, the interactions of the industrial site with the surrounding environment, with attention to the site selection criteria, the study of the environmental impact assessment, the operative project, the management of the production process, the sites reclamation and environmental recovery. The course aims to make the student acquire the knowledge to know and recognize the quarry mining methods, the environmental recovery methods, the most widespread techniques and technologies, the mining Health & Safety regulations and Laws.
