Goal of the course is to provide basic skills to identify and analyse problems related to stability of natural slopes, artificial excavations and landslides. Information will be provided in order to be able to: planning investigations, estimate parameters related to slope stability; identifying failure mechanism and performing stability analysis of natural slopes and landslides; monitoring planning; individuate the most appropriate types of remediation works; organization of stabilization works.
