Writing methodologies
(objectives)
To supply - a general knowledge framework about the writing (history tools, surfaces, functions) - specific knowledge to employ in the didactic of different disciplinary subjects (as Italian, History, Geography) - Methodological instruments to employ both in personal and professional study and in didactic for writing education as a complex process
Knowledge and understanding To know - Writing as technology in time span and space, so its material, social and cognitive causes - Writing as process and its productive, dynamic and interconnected components: conception, planning, writing, revision Applying knowledge and understanding - To produce texts coherent with the complex nature of the writing process applying, therefore, the four fields just mentioned previously - To design and achieve educational activities in disciplinary and interdisciplinary teaching of the writing, coherent with acquired knowledge and skills Making judgements - To increase self-confidence and self-awareness about own writing skills Communication skills - To plan and realize written works and speech well structured, correct, interesting, enjoyable both in the subjects and in the design (for example, in speech with a slide show or in texts layout) Learning skills - To develop personal interest and pleasure in many different writing activities - To increase self-awareness as writer with practical purpose - To know how to captivate children in both of processes just mentioned previously
