This course focuses on competition law from a comparative perspective (with particular reference to the European Union and the United States). It aims to provide students with the tools for understanding antitrust policies and their concrete implementation through the study of EU and US legislation, case law and enforcement practice. The course also includes in-depth analysis of specific topics related to sectors of interest (including digital markets) and the intersections between competition law and other areas of law, such as intellectual property law.
