(syllabus)
The purpose of this course is to deepen and investigate the main themes of environmental psychology and sustainability. Taking into account the most important theoretical contributions in the literature, the salient aspects of the individual-environment-nature relationship will be analyzed from both a psychosocial and an environmental psychology perspective. Moreover, the course is designed to provide skills both for understanding the main psychological and social processes that guide human behavior toward adopting sustainable lifestyles, implementing mitigation and adaptation actions to climate change, and promoting individual and collective wellbeing.
