(syllabus)
The course aims to outline the main events and the main protagonists of the Italian theater from the sixteenth century to the present day. The analysis will focus on the language and style of playwrights, with particular regard to authors such as Machiavelli, Goldoni, Pirandello.
Exam type: Oral The exam will focus on the texts in the program and on the topics presented during the lessons. The exam consists of an interview on the topics of the program in order to verify: 1) the depth and breadth of knowledge acquired; 2) the property of language; 3) the ability to critically connect themes and problems addressed
