INHABIT SPACE
(objectives)
Educational goals Research in the aerospace sector makes it possible to face formidable challenges that are far more demanding than those in the terrestrial sector, also due to the element of uncertainty that extraterrestrial space entails. The design effort imposed by the course offers the student the ability to carry out a technological and method transfer to the local project, enriching the IT and robotic knowledge, relating to the organization and automation of the construction site, management of the passive functioning of the indoor environment, application of circular economy principles to the design and management of the built asset. Specific objectives are: Understand the complexity of outer space and planetary environments Learn to think in uncertainty, finding possible solutions Dealing with complexity Know and use the most current and innovative construction techniques Confront different disciplines (physics, biology, geology, aerospace engineering)
