The course presents the main lines of development of pre-modern and modern literature of China and modern literature of Taiwan, the main trends, writers, and works, against the background of the historical events that influenced the various phases. In addition to approaching Twentieth-century literature and the main debated issues, it aims to develop the ability to read texts critically.
