(syllabus)
The course aims to provide the and students with an introduction, supported by a critical perspective, to the functioning of the "project cycle" in the world of international cooperation. After an initial introduction to the vocabulary of the anthropology of development, the phases of which the "project cycle" is composed and the tool of the "logical framework" will be analyzed, in order to also identify the critical issues that these two tools may enclose. Through the use of ethnographic cases, the importance of taking into account the contexts of intervention and the subjectivities of the different actors involved in the design and implementation of development projects and/or related to humanitarian intervention will be highlighted.
