(syllabus)
Fiction and autofiction from Dante to Ernesto Ferrero.
Teaching is part of the training activities related to the subject of Italianistica. The class I suggest aims to provide both a critical awareness of Italian literature and to amplify the hermeneutic abilities of students. As part of the teaching, the course wants to offer 1) a thorough knowledge of the main authors and of fictional works, that narrate and testify the historical processes; 2) the ability to contextualize, analyze and critically interpret texts of different nature. In this sense, works that start from the fourteenth century - Dante, Petrarch, Boccaccio - and come to this day, will be addressed. Classes will be hosted by experts in the field.
