HISTORY OF MODERN ART
(objectives)
The course is aimed at students of the Bachelor’s Degree and aims to offer methodological tools and basic knowledge for the study of art history in Italy in the modern age. Through a chronological and geographical path, will outline the lines of development of painting, sculpture and architecture in Italy between the fourth and eighteenth centuries. The objective is first of all the acquisition by the student of the ability to orient himself stylistically and critically between the artists and the main works of the history of modern art, with its main historical junctions. At the end of the course the student will be able to face the iconographic, stylistic and technical analysis of a work of art, in its historical and critical context.
