The course is divided into two parts: the first part will be dedicated to the critical reading of scientific literature, to analyze the distinctive characteristics of academic texts and the main techniques of scientific writing in the field of communication sciences. In the second part, it will analyze how to build a clear and effective scientific essay, organizing the order of the argument and its practical rules (syntax, punctuation, style). At the end of the course the students will be able to structure and to write a scientific essay.
