Classification of offshore structures and platforms. Environmental loads acting on marine offshore structure including vertical and horizontal (submerged) fixed structures and compliant structures. Analysis and design methods of offshore structures, including design according to API standards. Structural dynamics of offshore structures and response to random loads. Basic notions of marine geotechnics and foundations of offshore structures.
