The course aims to analyze, from a legal-regulatory point of view, the issue of the minimum wage due to workers. The objective is to provide participants with a view as comprehensive as possible of the topic in question, through the analysis of the legal framework of reference and the recent proposals for the introduction of a legal minimum wage in Italy.

Furthermore, the issue will be analyzed both from a comparative and a European point of view, through the study of the recent proposal for a directive on adequate minimum wages in the European Union.

The purpose of the course is also to develop a critical analysis approach by the student, in order to provide him with the necessary tools to evaluate the causes and the elements of complexity related to the current issue in question.
