BIOCHEMISTRY
(objectives)
Provide the principles to understand the physical, chemical and biological context in which biological macromolecules act; provide organic chemistry skills related to biological molecules (amino acids, nucleic acids, carbohydrates and lipids) and knowledge on protein structure and on the relationship between their structure and function; provide the fundamental molecular mechanisms underlying the process of vision.
